another name to had to any list on getting there fast is Zina Garrison, how much is athletic prowess and how much is techical footwork, you folks get to determine.

The link between footwork, anticipation and speed to me is hard to separate. Some may not seem to have the footwork of others but their speed more than makes up for it and maybe they delay a bit more because they know they can reach certain shots others cannot reach in order to tempt the opponent to hit it to a certain area.

Some of the most mobile female players I've seen are Graf, Court, Serena, Venus, Goolagong, Clisters, Navratilova and Mandlikova. I enjoyed the movement of all of them. Billie Jean King was fun move to watch also.
