Light on feet to avoid blisters?

Anyone have persistant blisters on the ball of the foot but cannot seem to make them go away?

I've tried special socks, shoe changes, even lost some weight, and I continue to get them on the ball of my right foot (not as bad on the other). Could it be that I'm planting my weight too much into the foot/court and instead could be "lighter" with my movement? I'm just thinking that maybe it wasn't the equipment or frequency of play so much as possibly my clumsy footwork.

Anythoughts or tips appreciated.

Don't blister's occur from excessive rubbing?
Perhaps your shoes are too loose at that part of your foot, causing insole to feet rubbing, which causes the blisters. You blister's should callous up after a while, if you give it time.
Probably a narrower and or shorter shoe is in order.

Good fitting shoes help to prevent blisters. Socks may help if shoes are too big. Just being light on your feet means nothing if your feet move in the shoes every time you take a step. 3 cents.

Try some orthodics and shoes that offer less friction and more ventilation. I think heat and friction are the main causes.

I would also like to add that once your feet get better I would buy a good moisturiser and a pama stone and I would bathe your feet every day. You need to care for them bro.

Double layer the socks. And of course form fitting shoes are best.

I think synthetic socks might help since there is less friction. If you play for a long time and get sweaty feet, changing socks can help as well (wet socks = more friction = blisters).
