Could anyone recommend me some light weight clay court shoes for people like me who have narrow feet ?

Adidas CC Feather. I have standard width feet, and the CC Feathers do feel a bit more narrow than what I am used to. They are very light and made for clay as well, so should be a winner!

I play on clay courts all the time. I really like the Barricade Vs. A lot of traction, lightweight, and not to mention great design.

I've tried the Vapor Vs on clay, just not the same. The propulse 2s aren't bad either but not as good as the barricades Vs.

hope that helps

The Nike Lunarlite Vapor Tours are great shoes on red clay. I'm playing in Germany for a year and had to buy some new shoes for the clay when I got here and I haven't had any problems with these. Super comfortable, a lot softer feeling than the older vapors, great traction, and really lite as well.

And if you look around you can probably get some of the white/blue AO ones for pretty cheap. I got my pair for 50 euros over here.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for your replies, I checked the profiles of the recommended shoes and altough they look good (they have to some extend the claycourt profile) I am more demanding unfortunately (I am very in-mobile on clay, I am tall, slim and light weight). I want a profile in the pic below:

I think for next season I will give that Ascis a try. Right now I have an all-court Asics but I think my feed are a bit too narrow for it.

have you tried any of them on at a local store? I'm curious what you think of the CC feather. It seems quite narrow compared to other shoes I've used, but I don't have narrow feet, I am width D.

I have not tried any of them. I am sure they would fit my narrow feet, however, as I just pointed out, I have another problem. On clay I am like Bambi on ice: I easily slip away. I need the best profile I can get, something like that Asics profile.

I am no expert on clay shoes, so in my humble opinion, you would be best to get one of the shoes specifically made "for clay", like the Babolat Team Clay or Adidas CC Feather. They have unique tread patterns made for exactly that: improved grip on clay. If you notice the CC's have a unique tread, with all the little pointed "spike-like" nubs. I rarely rarely play on clay, but did so a few times this past summer (har-tru), and felt more confident/sure-footed using the CC's on clay as compared to my herringbone hard-court shoes. The Babolat Clay shoe uses a michelin compound outsole which is also very 'grippy'. The Asics look good too, as many players use herringbone on clay as well, so these could all be great options.

Hopefully someone with more clay experience can sort this out, as I play on har-tru only 2-3x a year, but that's my 2 cents.:)

Yes I see, but a few years ago I bought (cheap) Nike shoes designed for clay as well and I was not satisfied with them (still slipping away). Therefore I had an eye on that Ascics shoe, I expect it will be great. I will check out some shoes for the next year.

If what you're really seeking is great traction in a more narrow shoe I would also suggest the Adidas Feather IV. For me, they worked great for traction, but were too narrow for my forefoot.

You might want to also look into the Yonex SHT 307 Clay. Nice sole for traction on clay.

The Wilsons you just highlighted are nice shoes, but some feel they sit a little to high up.
