How important is it that you like the people you play with? I’m finding some are just so mean spirited I want to leave the game.

Don’t play with assholes, life is too short. I have encountered very few of them in tennis, don’t give up.

For the most part pickleball players are mostly helpful I’ve found. That being said my wife has encountered a couple of people in our club that have been quite unhelpful since she is a beginner. Can’t wait till she beats them!
