Where he will lose to Nadal before Nadal goes on to reclaim his Wimbledon title.
Hewitt will lose to Federer like Safin 2 years ago at Wimbledon.

Hewitt should definitely be above Djokovic. This is grass. By the way are those the odds before or after Hewitt beat Federer in Halle?
How on earth have they got Soderling as twice as likely to win as Hewitt?
I know it's based on the betting for each player, but after the Halle win I'd have expected Hewitt's odds to shorten considerably (maybe 20/1).
If Rodge, Rod, Murray, Nadal, Soderling, Berdych, Djoker... go out early he has a chance
He doesnt even have a dark horse status
Exactly. I have no problem with him winning wimby, I'd like to see it. But let's be realistic. It takes more than 1 good tournament to put him back at that level.
very dangerous is Nadal. no one expects him to win.
Hmmm, if I'm to believe the sentiments on these boards, then:
-Nadal is not expected to win b/c it's grass (even though he's won Wimbledon before)
-Federer is not expected to win b/c he's not been in good form lately
-Djokovic is not expected to win b/c ditto on the form.
-Murray is not expected to win b/c he's not aggressive enough
-Roddick is not expected to win b/c it seems he hasn't been the same since Indian Wells and Miami
With all of these players not expected to win, I'm wondering, who the heck IS expected to win?!?!
Gotta love TT boards...
I agree with all but Murray, what has he really shown that could lead us to think he is a huge threat?

Sorry but when was the last time a junk baller who played defensive won Wimbledon?
2 Slam finals, 1 Wimbledon semi, 4 Masters Series titles, no4 in the world.
He has a chance.

I didn't ask for Murray's resume.
I asked when was the last time a defensive junkballer won Wimbledon? Seriously, is that too much to ask?
Come on Anaconda. Be more positive.
You know he can do it.
I'm not a Murray fan. So me wanting someone (who's game i dislike) to win would be out of the question. He's got a better, much better chance than Hewitt who will probably be out first week.

If Murray went out in the first or second round, would that make you happy?
If he does then I want to see a big smiley face.
I would even sacrifice Murray losing early.
Anything, just anything to make you happy.
I'm indifferent to Murray; i couldn't care less how well he does at the tournament just as long as he doesn't win it.
That would be a huge shot in the arm for tennis! Would love to see it happen. This guy deserves it if not for anything but for his fighting qualities and belief in his game, limited as it may be. Come on Hewitt!![]()
If you fail to win a specific tournament, then you don't deserve it. Just like many great grass court players have failed to win Wimbledon because they did not play well enough. Hence they didn't deserve to win.
Is there anyone you would like to see winning it?
I would love to see Hewitt win and Murray of course.
I think Hewitt's chances are minimal but wouldn't it just be great.
Jeez.
You really weren't kidding when you said you had aspergers were you.

Heard of Andy 'I don't mind losing 8 finals to Federer' Roddick? P*ricks with that kind of mentality are the ones that don't deserve it, unlike great fighters like Hewitt.
LOL. Idiot.
I guess Hewitt has beaten Federer in a slam too. Federer has beaten Hewitt around 8 times amirite? Roddick has actually came loser alot more than Hewitt when it comes to KO'ing Federer at a slam.
"I dont mind losing 100 times in a row to this guy or something" it turned me off completely.
It is not just about winning or losing. Hewitt brings a fighting mentality when he plays Federer. Unfortunately Federer is a horrible matchup for him, Hewitt has been past his prime since atleast 2006 (maybe sooner), and so Federer just outplays him virtually everytime. However he doesnt bring the quitters mentality to court of some others, most notably guys like Blake and Davydenko.
As for Roddick I used to be impressed with his fighting heart when he played Federer but when he made that "I dont mind losing 100 times in a row to this guy or something" it turned me off completely.
Exactly, great post! But it must be too much for the moron to understand.
No i actually understood the post. Hence why i replied to it. You're the stupid sack of crap accusing players who are renound for their mental strength to be mentally weak. LOL just keep embarrassing yourself. You're quite good at it.
Hewitt's chances to win Wimbledon are about as high as Donald Young's to win calendar grand slam next year.
Not good for either one. (Maybe a little better for Hewitt. He got lucky in Halle.)Now see here... That is so not true. Donald Young will never win any tournament. Hewitt can beat just about anyone on grass when his legs are working. He has at least some chance.
Sorry but when was the last time a junk baller who played defensive won Wimbledon?
You must have horse cr*p in your head for a brain.
So Andy Roddick says he doesn't mind losing 8 finals to Federer and he's renouned for his mental strength. ROFL!
Strangely, I still don't like him muchHeard of Andy 'I don't mind losing 8 finals to Federer' Roddick? P*ricks with that kind of mentality are the ones that don't deserve it, unlike great fighters like Hewitt.
so what he says is more important than what he does on court ? LOL ! roddick has a quitter mentality ? All I can say at this is LOL !
besides what was the exact context in which he said that ?
Strangely, I still don't like him much![]()
I highly doubt Andy was serious when he said that.I don't know what people play at taking Andy's pressers SO seriously.A lot of players try to put a positive spin on their losses immediately after a match. They don't have to necessarily mean what they say.And in Andy's case-He's displayed quite a few times that he's ready to take it to Fed-He has been slightly unfortunate to lose some of their matches. It is not just about winning or losing. Anyway Andy also said something like if one threw enough crap at the wall( Fed) something was bound to stick in the same presser.LOL
LOL, priceless ... the justifications that Federer fans put out for Andy 'confidence personified' Roddick!
If what you're saying is true, perhaps you can tell us why Roddick's coach at that time, Jimmy Connors, called it bullsh*t?! Yes, he did go on record calling Roddick's comment bullshi*t and saying 'I don't accept that'.
No,I can't tell you why Jimmy said that.Only Jimmy,Andy and camp know the circumstances fully.I won't be surprised if people like you( press in other words) took Andy's remark out of context and put it on Jimbo's ears..Are YOU sure of what Andy really meant? Are you sure Jimmy knew whether Andy really meant what he said at the time the remark was made?If you are and can provide a good argument then I shall stand corrected. Have you even bothered to read Andy's whole presser or are just parroting off that one remark because you LOVE to bash him up every opportunity you get?LOL, priceless ... the justifications that Federer fans put out for Andy 'confidence personified' Roddick!
