Lleyton Hewitt can win Wimbledon 2010

LOL i love that the complete dipsh!ts in this thread (ksbh and Davey) are both ripping Roddick, yet they can't even provide any evidence to show for it.

Mandy, I respectfully ask that you stop projecting me as an Andy-basher. I love Andy Roddick. In fact, he's one of my favorite players, but then the truth matters over everything else. I was simpy stating the truth!

Think about it ... all Andy's missing is an M and you got Mandy. How could I possibly hate him?! LOL! ;)

No,I can't tell you why Jimmy said that.Only Jimmy,Andy and camp know the circumstances fully.I won't be surprised if people like you( press in other words) took Andy's remark out of context and put it on Jimbo's ears..Are YOU sure of what Andy really meant? Are you sure Jimmy knew whether Andy really meant what he said at the time the remark was made?If you are and can provide a good argument then I shall stand corrected. Have you even bothered to read Andy's whole presser or are just parroting off that one remark because you LOVE to bash him up every opportunity you get?

Andy hasn't given up against Roger. It's been evident in many of their matches .And he just beat your hero in Miami.
Your irrational bashing is worse than my justification.Isn't there a limit to all this bashing ?How long is Andy going to be grilled for that one remark(even if,let's say,he truly meant every word of it) ?

Now that Nadal is playing this year, its going to be either Nadal or Federer. Roddick should make at least the quarters.

After the recent champs, Federer and Nadal, Hewitt has as good a chance as anyone. Roddick, Berdych, Murray (if he can get his act together) also have a good chance. Soderling, possibly, but I'm not sure about his movement on grass and preference for the high-bouncing balls he gets at the French. Did almost beat Nadal a couple years ago though and he is better now.

LOL, Sword! It's just natural to love oneself! :)

LOL! Ay right MoFoBro! Good self love esteem is good. More had it this world might not be as disgusting as it is.
Now Federer is a great but something about his form just irks me. I dont think I have liked his form since late 2007. Ever since he has grated on my nerves. 2008 he was ok but after that I tend not 2 b able 2 watch him. The shanks and the UE's. His serve is never consistent like it was. I think he is nearing the end of domination. He just does not have it.
2010 AO he showed me some old mojo. But I said b4 I think that run last year and the AO10 took alot out of him. No matter what he says in the media. As u say the media is a bunch of Bull shat artists.

His biggest issue now will be that he will be playing best 3 of 5 instead of best 2 of three, and that hip is eventually going to give out again.

You must have horse cr*p in your head for a brain.

So Andy Roddick says he doesn't mind losing 8 finals to Federer and he's renouned for his mental strength. ROFL!

How do you know how he meant it? I could just as easily interpret it as "I don't mind losing to him as long as I put my heart out there. I can lose to him 5 times or 50 times, but I will fight every time I step out on the court."

Then we see how he fights while on the court...and as another poster here said (paraphrase)....actions speak louder than words (and even those words are open to interpretation).

I'm glad to see someone saying "CAN" and instead of something like "Hewitt will win Wimbledon 2010" and then someone ends up bumping it the day he loses.. LOL

Zee,

I really don't think Roddick likes Federer *at all*. I think such statements are made only for some effect - either to look humble, or because it gets quoted. At least I can say this for the last one year. If they meet again, Andy will put everything in.

I highly doubt Andy was serious when he said that.I don't know what people play at taking Andy's pressers SO seriously.A lot of players try to put a positive spin on their losses immediately after a match. They don't have to necessarily mean what they say.And in Andy's case-He's displayed quite a few times that he's ready to take it to Fed-He has been slightly unfortunate to lose some of their matches.
Anyway Andy also said something like if one threw enough crap at the wall( Fed) something was bound to stick in the same presser.LOL

I agree with you 100%. Roddick doesn't care if he loses, give me a break. It could have been Jesus Christ himself and Andy would of still cared that he lost. I no more believe that Roddick really meant this anymore than I believe Verdasco meant what he said about Nadal.
