Lleyton looks to be using something new at the Hopman Cup. Maybe a special edition for his retirement, seems to match his summer outfit. Sorry, have no pics.

Has to be just a paint job, there is no way you would change racquets in your last month of professional tennis.

Just the Aussie colors the commemorate his final run before retirement.

Yes of course, makes perfect sense. I hope he does well, he's been an incredible fighter his whole career and would be nice to see him surpass expectations in his last slam appearance

If Yonex released this to the public, I'd buy three.

I wonder how many have been made for him. A cool thing to do would be to auction of his sig frames after AO to benefit charity.

Any one got more pics of the frame?

That's the vcore 97 tour right? Does anyone have Hewitt's racket specs?
Don't think so. I believe its the same frame he's been using ever since he made the switch to a 95. It it likely the same frame as what Wawrinka is using:

The VCORE Tour 97 and 97G have 8 mains going through the bridge, their's only have 6.

I'm on mobile or else I'd post a screenshot, but check out tennis.only on Instagram. They have pics of Rusty's stick and confirmed its a VCore Tour 97.

It may say 'VCore Tour 97' on the frame, but unless they did a special drill pattern for him, its still his old 95D. As I said earlier, the VCore Tour 97 (and 97G) have 8 mains going through the throat. From this pic, you can clearly see his only has 6:

Im starting to question if Hewitt actually used the 95D or not. Like in this pic, the throat area right above the handle is bigger than on a 95D. But I've tried looking what other possibilities his racket could be, no answer yet.

Lleyton is holding his trusty RDIS 100 93 with vcore 95d paint job in that photo.

edit.. n/m it is 95D with Vcore97 paint. the throat area just looks different due to white vs red paint

I don't think he is using 95d I think they baked one just for him with 95d throat And whatever he used before the switch

I've seen this Aussie Stars n Stripes racket on sale in Sydney as at February 2016. It sure feels hefty unstrung. I didn't bother finding out the RRP sorry.

Can you say where exactly you saw this racquet ? I wouldn't mind checking it out for myself.

Looks like Vocre 95D. On the RDiS 100 Mid that 3 d area above the grip is square. On Hewitt's racquet and Vcore 95D its round.
The VCores did not come with shockless grommets at 6 o'clock though. Unless if what we are seeing is a VCore 93 that they only made for Hewitt.
