Remote is always worth it. Being able to stop the feed from the other side of the court rather than walk over and have how many balls shot out in the meantime is a great thing. Assuming since you're asking that it's within your budget. Whether being able to change the settings or not on it is worth is a different question. but as someone who has used a ball machine with an without a remote to stop/start it, remote is always the way to go.
