Seriously, over the years I was admittedly sometimes amused by Med´s eccentrics but he is making an increasingly deranged impression for a while now.

Absolutely BRILLIANT match! My only complaint for Fils is he needs to not use the drop shot on these Indian Wells courts.

Every ball is bouncing 18 feet in the air now at IW so very hard for a standard drop shot to be effective.

But overall, what an entertaining match. Medvedev starting to get his mojo back!!?

But seriously after some terrible matches over the past few months, Med has to feel like things are finally going in his favor again.

Glad someone posted the interview of why he celebrated. He was blunt back in November saying tennis wasn’t fun for him. Then let out he was low on confidence when closing out tight matches.

If this is a sign of positivity , then it’s good for the tour if medvedev is able to ignite his old self again. More competition is good for the tour. Same with Rune I hope this ignites more consistency on his end.
