The world number 2 won the FO again for the 4 straight year :)

What a year its been....

Fed cant beat any of the top 4..Murray, Djoker and Nadal making him look like number 4....cursing the HC season..racket smashing..Nadal winning the AO open...

Next thing you know..Fed wins Madrid...and is now FO champion

As they say...sports is unpredictable...

Expected result. The second best player in the world sucks on hard courts, while the best player in the world sucks on clay. Who didn't see this coming? Third and fourth best players in the world are absent from everything important as usual. This is basically a repeat of 2006 and 2007...

Haha that's funny , the world no. 2 wins for the 4th straight year...:) lol

Who knows maybe an outsider wins Wimbledon!

Next year when Fed and Nadal meet in the final, with less pressure on Fed, maybe the match will be a great five setter.

yeah, it surely makes up for the pain I felt after his loss in Wimbledon last year and Australian this year. This French win is SO SWEET! I'm going out to celebrate later, YAY!

Let us know what you are smoking.

The second best player in the world (Federer) won the US Open 2008 and was a finalist at the Australian Open 2009.

There is only one truth out there and it is that Roger Federer is really something special, regardless of what has happened within the past year and a half or what happens after today.

No.2 enters Wimbledon as FO champion and no.1 as dissapointed defending champion.

Always the same.

yup.I also find it funny that no.1 is defending Wimby champion and no.2 RG champion.:p

This doesn't really mean much. Federer played nothing but scrubs throughout the tournament. It's not his fault but the challenge wasn't really in winning the French but beating Nadal to win it. He would of won in years past against anyone other than Nadal but it took a Knee injury to Nadal and a draw full of scrubs to give Federer his 14th slam.

Congrats Roger.

Best Fed-Nadal post of the week imho.

Fed minus pressure is an interesting prospect in an FO final, especially if he continues to develop some new tactics....
