Thanks for everone that will post to help me!! Your help is much appreciated!! Thanks in advance!!

Go to "p.w.p" at wimbledon, its about the best tennis outlet in the country. Dont bother with JJB and JD sports, they dont sell any decent tennis stuff at all. All: Sports sell some Nike and Addidas tennis clothes, but will only have like one shirt from each and mabye shorts if you're lucky. Definetly head down to "p.w.p" mate its awesome, they sell everything. But TW is far better than any of the UK stores.

As for games and DVD's, they wont work in the US because the platfroms are different.

If you have some money, head down to Knightsbridge; head staight for harrods and you will find everything that you need (clothes, tennis stuff, games, dvd's, music etc. etc. But everything you buy there will be about £20 over the RRP so only go if you have money to spend.

I'd go for Niketown on Oxford Circus, Lillywhites on Picadilly and like gurj said P.W.P in Wimbledon Village. P.W.P have a shop in Wimbledon Village and also take over the Scout building too, tho' i'm not sure if they're doing that this year. Carnaby Street has a few good stores for trainers and Covent Garden too, but these are more fashion trainer stores rather than sport specific stores. For your tennis kit go to Niketown and Lillywhites.

nike town (oxford street)
P-W-P (wimbledon) not as good as tennis warehouse though
Footlocker (oxford street) near nike town

nike town for all your nike goods 2nd floor for tennis stuff

Hmv in oxford street for music

For exclusive nike air force ones go to sheppards bush and there is a trainer shop that sells all the custom trainers and exclusive ones air force ones
Global Sports US

my brother got a pay custom spay painted they look proper nice
you can get anything put on them from a picture of roger federer to a tennis ball

Wigmore Sports on Wigmore Street near Selfridges as well but best of all of them would be *** as the others have stated.

If you can go there and afford the price tag, Harrods have a shop inside that'll custom make Adidas Shoes, Barricade IIIs, a running shoe and a cross training shoe(I think thats it) only

I might get that!! How much does it cost and do they have it for kids?

Just wait lemme find my magazine................takes a few minutes, I'll edit this when I find it............

EDIT: OK, I found it:

They do:
Predator Pulses (footie boots)
Supernova's (running shoes)
Barricade III's (tennis shoes)

I don't know if they do kids shoes but if you are an adult size 5 they might have your size.................Also it's pretty expensive at £110/$199(£25 more than normal) however they are completely customised to your fit with supposedly:
66 colour combinations
144 sizes
2 different outsoles
3 different midsoles
You can also have your name embroided (up to 10 letters)

One thing that could might be a hassle is that since they are tailor made they take 28days to make and are then delivered from factory direct.

Count me out!! I would rather just get them form the website of Tennis Warehouse!!!

$200!!! I am not going to pay $200 for a pair that I can get on the internet for $55!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....LOL.................

*sigh* Everything over here in the UK is bloody expensive, you'd probably be better off not coming here at all! :)

Harrods is the MOST expensive IMO because I have been to London 4 years ago and I still remember.

Do you anywhere else that I cna get hte Barricade 3's in London without paying more than $70 and tehy have them in kids size?

Or do you think if I really want them, the best place to get them is from Tennis Warehouse?

OK, does anyone have ANY more info? PLease, if you live in London or been there before, please help me out. I want to buy many things there!

For tennis stuff I'd pay visits to Wigmore Sports (they have presences in both Harrods and Selfridges, but their best store is on Wigmore Street, round back of Selfridges. P-W-P's website is also impressive, although I've never been in their store or ordered anything from them.

Expect to pay over the odds for everything - London is real overpriced, and the selection of items is probably quite bad compared to the US anyway. I get all my tennis stuff abroad because it's substantially cheaper and, most importantly, they actually have a wide range of products.

If you're looking for a bargain, you might want to head over to a huge store called Decathalon, in Canada Water (on the Jubilee line on the tube - the grey one). Don't expect a nice display or store layout - it's a 'pile 'em high sell 'em cheap' sports shop, but it has a good selection of sporting goods at the best prices you'll find in London. It's just like a Go!Sport, for those who have been to Paris.

Yeh but is that like kiddies shoe sizes as in frm 1-13 size 5 or as in adult size 5? put it this way I'm 15 and I'm an adult size 7 what are you?

A lot, heres the UK shoe system:

1-13 - kids size
1-~12 adult size,

kid size five is around "so" long and adult size 5 is like a lot bigger.
Its hard to explain,
JONNYF HELP ME OUT HERE!

where did you get that from? if i remember correctly and you're 13yrs old then you have like TINY feet...............REALLY TINY

Because most shoes when they say UK4.5 they mean UK ADULT SIZ 4.5 but then "kiddie/junior shoes" have like..nevermind wait a min..............brb

Nevermind can't find my size 5 adult shoes.................but my my size 7s say they are 8 in the US, are you close?

Well, both of my shoes say size 5 U.S. and in U.K. size 4.5.

Since i am in the kids shoe thing it only goes .5 down but if you have adult size it goes down 1 size.

U understand now?

Fine Fine Fine, I knew I shouldn't have started this discussion and you knew what you were on about. sorry. :)

But no offence or anything, finding kiddie size 5 barricade III's are about as hard as uhhhhhhh Henman winning Wimbledon (Like hell he's got a chance). I'm sorry but even the Junior Barricade III's over here which are designed for kids feet start from kiddies size 13 up to adult size 2. So it's gonna be pretty hard finding shoes over here for you I think. You'd probably be better off getting them from TW if you have the right size.

Actually I'm not really sure if they DO do a kiddie size 5 shoe but it never hurts to try.

Well the closest I found on the site that I usually buy off which is **********.com says they only do kids size 13 which are "kids" barricade III's but then there might be different shops.
I'm sorry but I don't live in London and don't know it well but for sports clothing JJB is pretty good for picking up cheap bargains.

Anyway I need to get to bed it's 11pm here so I'll speak to you maybe tomorrow night, got a tennis match tomorrow :) at 10am :(, need to get some sleep *yawn*

Wigmores has B111's in JUNIOR
i'll explain
kids= Babies and todlers 1-13 1 is like -------- long
JUNIOR (you're sizes) = Adult sizes 1-6 (UK so 1.5-6.5 or 2-7)
Adult = anything above 6 or 7

I am going to sleep right now, so please tell me as much info as possible about London and then when I wake up I can see all teh information!!

Thanks in advance!

Just wanted to say hi psycho and thanks. Have a great time. I would help but I haven't been there in a long time and probably most of the places I used to go are history by now.
