    I don't know...they're Radical...maybe if it smells like Lavender...Does it?

Member of the club... I have a Liquidmetal Radical MP, 3 Zebras, 2 Bumblebees, 1 Candycane, and a Youtek IG Pro. I almost finished the sentence with a Partridge in a Pear Tree... :D

My Bumblebees are currently buzzing around looking for new string to call home... interested to hear how the Purple Alu Rain performs... :)

I have been using the PT113B (customized to my liking) for about a year now. Yesterday, I hit with he FXP Radical MP (customized to match my 113s) for the first time and liked it very much.
Will have additional details/reviews in a few weeks...

The PT113A is the iRadical, the PT113B is what is Novak (and a few others using). Same mold, different layup

The layups are different but I was surprised (first time using FXP Radical MP) how close. The flex is the same (63 unstrung, 61 strung), the one I have is the PT167A (Austrian) but it flexes different, could be the flexpoints, could be the ridges, could be altered layup to make it flex to his liking.
I matched my PT113Bs at 335g strung, 32.5cm balance and 340SW. To do that, I added some lead just above mid of the handle (similar to Novak's customization), and added some silicone (8g) at the buttcap.

See above. I customize mine different. Although Novak's setup is pretty smooth to swing and 370SW at first feels ok, I was "falling behind" on timing after 30 minutes and my 2nd serve was crap.
Novak has silicone in the handle, lead on the handle, lead from 7 to 5 o'clock.

The secret is in careful custom distribution of mass...actually, it's much easier with a light (and right) platform when you are allowed lot of choice where to distribute custom mass, than with already heavy stick where there's little you can do. Pro players sticks are fine tuned instrument rather than just pile of lead :)

Caviat: I haven't spent much time with regular Alu. It is playing as great as it looks but I suspect I couldn't tell the difference from silver.

I think the TW reviewers said it felt softer... not sure... but wanted to get your opinion :)... Either way it looks very psychedelic...

It did seem soft and muted to me, I had just chalked that up to stringing it 56/59 in my Radical Tour which is much more plush than my somewhat belligerent 6.1 95. I had only played Alu in a hybrid and even then it wasn't as choice as the champions lead me to believe (which is probably due to my timing). If I hadn't recently fell for Yonex PTP then the purple wallet eater would need more examination.

-335 SW, ~12 oz strung, various balances because i "matched" them without any tools lol.
    - Lux ALU Soft & Silverstring hybrids with Prince Premier Power ~53lbs

    Leather and bluetack baby!

Yeah I must admit that Lux Alu, or most premium Luxilon strings, do hit the wallet a little harder and that I have found much cheaper alternatives that seem to work just as well if not better. Yonex PTP is one of the ones I like, and it's better in the comfort department. I also use several of the Kirschbaum strings which I purchased whilst on sale, and got an entire reel for almost the price of 2 sets of Lux Alu (12m/ 40 ft)... I've also tried some strings from OEHMS, which I found to be quite nice...

How do you like the Luxilon Overgrip in comparison to the Tourna?

More comfy. Smidge thicker. Only slightly less absorbent. Looks cool haha. Certainly last longer than the Tourna though

If you are a die hard sweater I'd stick with Tourna, especially going into the summer months. I may make the Lux my spring/fall grip

I could comfortable play a match in either though.

    Fun answer... ;)

Real answer... It's for when you love your hands and wanna keep them in tip top shape. Cuticles and such. When I broke my finger my all day splint was absolutely gnarly on my skin and nail on my ring finger.... so this kept it in shape and I plan on using it until its gone

Now in summer I need to string them 25-24, 26-25....all around 360gr...feels nice but depends on string use, SPPP has a low tension lose but freshly strung feels lively
