Long sleeve compresson shirt. My tennis hq

I was watching Karue on my tennis hq as I usually do and noticed that he ALWAYS has a long sleeve compression shirt on under a short sleeve t. I tried calling his cell to ask him directly but he must of been editing a video or something and didnt answer.
Anyway, as a player who is always hot hon the court I cant imagine wearing 2 shirts, one being long sleeve. Why do yall think he (and others) do this? I could understand for outdoor tourneys in the sun all weekend but hes doing this indoor.

No idea.

But it would just absorb sweat. Maybe he just feels comfortable playing in them?

Pros don't wear them so I don't think you should either unless you just really like them.

I have a bunch of compression shirts, short and love sleeve.

But those are for jiu jitsu when you're dripping in sweat and absorbing sweat from an opponent.

But I wouldn't like wearing them for tennis.

The compression shirts aren't really that hot to wear but they feel constricting compared to a good polyester tennis shirt IMO.

I wear a long sleeve synthetic base layer when I play, but loose, not compression, to keep the sun off my arms. White when it's hot out.

A stranger cold calling someone to ask why they wear a certain type of clothing is wild. Leave that man alone lmao.
