Longer grip handles on extended racquets?

I have very large hands and I really struggle to fit my hands on the grip on my two handed backhand... Is an extended racquet a solution to problem?

Thanks!

Some standard length rackets have longer grips than others, so you might do some checking into which companies tend to have longer grips.

I know the VCore Pro or Ezone lines have longer grips... But I don't really like these frames enough to make them my racquet...

A longbody could indeed be a solution, my ex Babolat PDT+ had a longer than standard grip, and so does my PSLGT+.

If your racquet has a pallet system, you may be able to get pallets that you can install for a longer handle. This works well on Head XL Pro Stocks. You get a long pallet and can cut it to your desired length and install it on the hairpin.

How is this,, thinking about buying them. I'm coming from wilson sw104
Played again tonight, and it was pretty good. I still haven't adjusted to the high launch angle. I think I overcompensated today and started hitting everything into the net. Overall I think I still prefer my RF97, but it's too early to tell. Serving was much easier with fresh balls.

im not a 2hander, but some rackets do accommodate a 2hbh better
the new Wilson.blade.98 v7 seems to have addressed this for you 2HBHers, look at 6:15 on this vid.
I bought this racquet partly because of the claimed longer grip. In fact, the grip is shorter than the gravity grip and not ideal for my two hander. However, I liked the racquet so much I'm still using it! But I wouldn't buy it based on having enough room for two large hands. Maybe it's a centimeter bigger than old blade grip...

I switched this spring and am extremely happy with my choice. It took about a month or so to get my forehand grooved, but serve & backhand have been there from the start. Its an amazingly stable frame for 305g. I also messed with different strings for the first few months, but have now found my string in the Laserfibre Native Tour at 50lbs.

I did customize a little bit, although not huge things:
  1. Replaced the base grip w/ a Tecnifibre X-tra Full. Why? Because I've come to like a "4 7/16" grip (e.g., between 4 3/8 and 4 /12). Yonex is notorious for a larger pallet and thinner base grips, so buying a 4 3/8 but replacing with a thicker base grip got me there.
  2. Built up the butt cap a bit. Yonex butt caps have minimal flare. I like the flare of Pacific or Wilson, so I wrapped some protection & finishing tape around it to increase the flare (actually am now looking at the Tourna Power Cap instead).

While I don't have large hands, I do keep a little space between my top & bottom hands on my backhand (ala Ferrer), and short grips drive me crazy.

The regular length Pure Aero has a decent handle length, as does/did the Strike VS (e.g., Pure Control/Storm frame). Can't recall if the 'normal' Strike or PD have enough room.

Also, the new Dunlop CX 200 line has decent handle/grip length.
