Longest lasting ball in terms of bounce?

Note: new to talk tennis and this is my first post so bear with me.

As the title states, which heavy duty ball retains it's bounce the longest? I hear Penn ATPs are good but haven't gotten around to really try any. Thoughts?

Wilson Ti3 will bounce to the eternity. But its an awfull ball. Very hard on the arm and actually bounces way too high.

For a pressure filled ball try the Pro Penn Marathons. They last longer than most other balls. They are more expensive though.

tretorns definitely last forever (literally?)... I still have some from like 10yrs ago that bounce well... but they aren't a true bounce (imo). Great for grooving strokes on the ball machine though since you can adjust how fast they are coming at you.

Dunlop grandprix are my next favorite,.. although abit heavy/hard (but ok for me).

Wilson US Open next on my list (close to dunlops)... softer "normal" ball, but i don't think they last as long as the dunlop gp's. most other premium balls I've tried are decent enough, can't really say one is better than another by alot.

I personally like Micron Tretorn Micro X balls for practice. Had them well over 2 years and they do well.

Another vote for the Tretorn Micro X. They WILL NOT go flat. Only way they will break is if you rip it open, but beware about the witchcraft fluff they have inside of them.

You should also know that they are VERY fast and have quite a high bounce which is probably due to them being rock hard.

So far the best tennis balls I have ever used are Technifibre X-one balls. Retains pressure/bounce longer than Wilson US opens (which I regularly use) and the felt quality is significantly better IMO.

If looking for long lasting balls you better keep away from Wilson US Open's. They are comfortable right out of the can but have a short life cycle.

The Wilson US Opens are better than the cheaper alternatives available to me. So its like a middle ground of price to performance (I can usually get a good price on the cans from my stringer). The Technifibre X-ones are really good but a bit pricey

Did a brief google search... ~$5 for 3 balls,... in your opinion, is the price really worth it? Or am I better off just opening up a can of $3 balls every time I play. Also couldn't find any US stores that carry it.

It depends on how often you play and if you and your mates are hitting with a lot if top spin then it would definitely be worth it IMO. I like to use whem playing for points and stick to the cheaper balls for rallies and serve practice. But of course ymmv

Another vote for Pro Penn Marathons.
I can confirm that they are better than the Penn ATP balls as well. Retain their bounce longer and felt lasts longer.

Dunlop hands down-no competition. On a very low bouncing, ultra slow dirty hard court, there's nothing else that could possibly give a decent bounce.
