Longest toilet break

Consider that Lendl told a Florida newspaper in July, "I had a 16 year pro career, I played in 1300 matches and I never took one single toilet break. Not one, even though I played many five-setters."
huh ?..lendl left the court in 1988 fo 4th rd vs mcenroe..mac was rightly ranting about some bad calls in a tb and during it lendl sneaked off court. did he visit the actual toilet ?. dunno but leaving court is a toilet break whatever the actual reason.

I have this match still on VHS, it was played over two days. Lendl did not use the restroom and didn't even leave the court, he stood by the entrance to the lockers. It was suspended due to darkness at 4-2 in the 3rd set on the first day and Lendl said later he thought they were suspending the match. He never used the toilet.

When did they first start allowing toilet breaks? I remember a time when players were not allowed to leave the court. I also always wondered what exactly happens if you have digestive issues in the middle of a match and can't leave the court.

Nadal only likes the longest records- for example 13 RG titles- so this becomes him.

Tennis is such an elite sport that, not only toilet breaks and MTOs are allowed, but also we will see in the future full massage, manicure, pedicure, haircut and showers provided at changeovers.

Pretty sure Tsitsipas is leading it for me, I remember timing one he took against either Zverev at Cinci or maybe it was Murray at US open but it was pretty long and maybe beats Nishikori's 12 vs Nadal. I will have to consult the match threads i posted in coz i'm sure i timed it and posted about it but i'm pretty sure it was longer than Nishikori's one.

[Edit] I'm wrong, found my post and i was way off the mark. He took an 8min 20seconds one against Zverev at Cinci. Shame.

Lendl is the most stoic player of all times.
