If you consider Sets Won/Loss in Grand Slams as a measure of dominance, it is fascinating to look at how Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic compare to each other.

Federer's highest sets won/loss percentage was 2007 - 79-9 (89.8%). This is the highest of any player in the open era who played all four Grand Slams in the year.
Nadal's highest sets won/loss percentage was 2010 - 75-10.5 (87.7%).
Djokovic's highest sets won/loss percentage was 2015 - 82-14 (85.4%)

Federer has had four years above 85% (actually above 86%), impressively, all consecutively from 2004-2007.
Nadal has had two years above 85% - 2008 and 2010
Djokovic has had one year above 85% - 2015

Since 2004, these three guys have had combined for 7 seasons with a sets win/loss percentage above 85%. For perspective, from 1987-2003, there was no season where a player won more than 85% of sets in Grand Slams.

I don't look at sets won vs. loss as a measure. Because they are a tool to win matches, win vs. loss is the quantity desired. Sets don't matter.

We're gonna penalize Federer now for players retiring against him? Sigh. Federer won 81 sets in 2006, get your **** together. Nalbanidan retired crocked.
