Looking for a 3.0 or 3.5 USTA men's team in ATL

I have played K-Swiss for 3+ seasons now and have had a lot of success and 3.5- and now 3.5. My overall record is 21-4 including 4-0 at 3.5. I am a computer rated 3.0 USTA player due to playing early 2007. I have since improved tremendously but have not yet found a team in Atlanta. I would love to play singles for a USTA team inside the perimeter but if not available I will travel a little ways OTP. I have tried using the USTA website to find a team but have had no success after over a year of searching.

Thanks,
JP

Really depends on the area of town...but to expand on the 1st response...Terrell Mill Tennis Center has a lot of teams. Roswell Park has a lot of teams (the Senior 3.0 went to Nationals in 2007), and Blackburn Park (south of Dunwoody) has a ton of teams.

I'd use the USTA team locator to reach to the captains, get a practice night and show up. On average, these teams are probably losing 1-2 players a year, so there's probably openings.

That's less likely in the club and neighborhood teams which work hard at keeping the 'hood together.

How do I find a local team? I can't find this feature on tennislink, do I have to be a USTA member in order to access it?

P.S. I'm looking for a 4.0 team near Exton, PA

yeesh. I swear, two years ago, there was a form to fill out that sent your info to your local coordinator. They could then forward it to the captains and say "here's another guy".

Well, I couldn't find that form (maybe it was only when I signed up). However, the process is the same: you click on "Find a Team" and it brings you to the coordinator contacts. You reach out to your local coordinator.
