At the moment, I have my racquets strung with Wilson Stamina 16 @ 58 lbs for my Dunlop Aerogel 4D 300, Aerogel 300, and the m-Fil 400. The Babolat Pure Storm was strung with Tourna Poly Big Hitter Silver 17 @ 55 lbs.
With the 4D 300, I get power with the Stamina string though maybe a bit too much. Doesn't help that this racquet is more powerful than its predecessor. If I keep this string I may have to go up to 62 lbs.
The Pure Storm gets good topspin with the strings, but not much for power. I don't use polys much, so not sure how to judge it. The strings hold up pretty well and I probably feel more control with this than I do with the 4D 300.
The m-Fil 400 I get pretty good amount of power with either the PSGD 16 or the Wilson Stamina 16 strings. A string with a little bit more control would be great.
The AG 300 I get less power with the Stamina 16 strings than I do with them on my 4D 300, but the control is good.
All of these racquets I play in stock form. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
