looking for a new racket

I'm 15 and play with an original babolat pure drive w/ lead tape at the top for a more top heavy racket with more topspin, and since I don't really like where babolat is going with their new line, I'm looking for a new racket. I have a big serve and am mainly a baseliner, and hit with a moderate amount of spin. I'm looking mainly for a racket with more control, any suggestions? I'm considering the wilson nTour but have yet to play with it so I don't know whether it's the racket for me yet.

More control? I'd suggest an even balance to slightly head light frame with a weight in the mid 11 oz range. I think the nTour would be too light for you, but if you would consider leading it up while maintaining the even balance, it may be a good racquet for you.

I'd suggest either the nPro Open or nBlade, both with some lead at the 3 and 9 o clock positions for added stability. If you're planning on incorporating some volleying or doubles play into your game, the nBlade would be a great choice. It also has more control. Otherwise, the nPro Open seems to fit a pure baseliner game.

Leading up an O3 White or M-Fil 300 might also be attractive choices for you.

well I definately don't have an all-baseline game; I mainly baseline but if I see an opporotunity to come into net I'll take it. I have already tried the nblade and did not like it very much, the npro open I like but am not in love with. I was thinking of putting some lead tape on a ntour at the base for a more even feel (I hear it's top heavy), but I still don't know

I suggest that you try out the nTour and see how you like it. It is a relatively light racket especially in comparison to a Pure Drive with lead tape. I, personally, did not like the nBlade very much either, and I think that I got tennis elbow from playing with it for 15 minutes. Go tell Sylvie to get you an nTour.
