So a little bit about my game. I have been playing #1 doubles the past 3 years. I might be playing #1 singles this year though. I am an all courter when I play singles. I play with a full western forehand grip and 2-handed backhand. Both with a lot of topspin. I have been using a Head liquidmetal fire racquet and am looking for my first player's racquet after using this thing at the 4.0 level. I need to narrow my racquet list down to 3 because I can only demo 3. So I am open to any suggestions and reasons. The main racquets I have been looking at are the Pure Drives, MG Radicals, and the MG Prestiges. Any suggestions please help me narrow down to 3 racquets. Also don't know if I should go oversize on the radical.

What are you looking for in your next racquet?? Do you want more/less wieght, SW, Balance, and overall wieght?? I have no experience with the head radical, although I have heard its a good racquet. The LM Radical is also a good but as its on sale! You may also read the reviews for a Dunlop such as the 200, 300, or if you like light racquets maybe the 500. Can you give us your desired specs, it would help-thanks.

See that is why I need help lol. I am looking for a little bit heavier racquet than I was using. I mean anywhere 11 oz and up is fine. I can always add weight. Also want generous sweet spot. Needs to be able to generate decent topspin. I mean this is my first player's racquet so I don't know all the specs I want. I am 6'1" 160lb if that helps at all.

Hmmm might wanna giv a few of the prince stix a look if u want a fairly big sweetspot. The Rebels r very nice as r the new Graphites, the oZone Pro Tour is my fav. The Pro Tour has a big sweetspot, great control, good access to spin, nice feel, and has ample power to put shots away.

It really depends on ur playin style, if u sit on the baseline and pound away, then ull prob lik the PD line quite a bit, especially the PDR. But if u lik coming 2 net (u said u play dubs) then i would stay away from the PD line, 2 much power, not nearly enough control, not enough feel 4 touch shots.
On the KB98 and KBT, both r very good stix. I liked the KBT a little mor because of the enhanced feel, and awesome control (also is 1 of my fav stix at net.) The KB98 is nice stock but great leaded up. Still the 98 is geared mor 4 the baseline, but does still work well at net.
