Looking For a replacement

what would be a good replacement for my Adidas Feather II's since the III's are overly focused on clay courts. What would be a good lightweight hardcourt shoe?(preferibly nike)

I dunno about lightweight, but I just got my Cage II's today, and though I've yet to play with them, from walking around with them, they are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. That's just my opinion, though.

well the cage II's are one of the ones I was thinking about so I agree with you on those, the others were the breath free II which are a little lighter what do you think about this shoe(breath free II)?

If you are only concerned about light weight try yourself a pair of diadora speed pro's. Lightest shoe I have ever wore, they fit like a glove offer good cushioning and are very flexible.

Gel Resolutions aren't a bad light weight shoe, and offer the best stability you can find in a lighter weight package

lightweight isnt the only thing that matters to me so I do want to cheat myself on quality by getting the lightest pair of shoes ever, so Id rather go with Nike breathe free II or cage II

i thought the breathe free II were pretty good, but they aren't that durable. wore em out in 2 months and thats only wearing them on the tennis court.

If you're happy with the Feather II's then go ahead and get the III's. The II's were a clay court shoe, too, and the III's are actually more solidly built and not any more clay focused than the II's. If you're interested in Nike's, then the Breathe Free II and Breathe Cages are good. Also, the new Adidas CC Ultimate Edge is fairly light and hard court oriented.

I saw that shoe but was unsure of how solid of a shoe it was:-?

Very similar to the II's, and quite a good shoe. Maybe slightly more support and ever so slightly heavier, but basically just a slightly beefed up update. Also, it fits a tiny bit narrower in the middle of the foot.

seems like a shoe I might try in the future but as for now I love the Cage II's its like the perfect blend of heft(durability and support) and lightness.
