Looking for a soft poly

I have played with Gosen Micro for over 10 years..
Tried all the multis and didn't like them.

Looking for a recommendation on a poly that is arm friendly and not too expensive.
I do all my own stringing.

Thanks

Dunlop Black Widow is very soft, but slightly pricey. If you string for yourself it shouldn't be too bad. However, Kirschbaum Pro Line II and Pro Line Evolution are also very good and soft. If those are all too expensive then I would suggest trying Tourna Big Hitter Blue Rough. Great economical poly.

WeissCANNON Turbotwist or polystar energy are the softest polys I've found. They are still much worse for the arm than any multi or synthetic.

BHBR is my PSGD of polys

As mentioned above, the Weisscannon turbo twist is great. Really, all of their polys are great and priced pretty well. I played with the Scorpion 1.22 for about a year before switching to black widow

I agree that Turbotwist (1.18, which appeared to be thicker than Solinco Tour Bite 1.20) is soft for a poly. It also maintains playability for a long time. It's a good string, but I've moved on.

I did NOT like Solinco Outlast. It lacked power...it felt quite useless and dead to me. Previous to Outlast, I had tried Tour Bite and Revolution, which were both good (preference to TB).

should I string the soft poly 5 lbs less than synthetic gut

I'm too nervous that I'll warp my frame by doing crazy string jobs, so I play it safe and trust this website. Take measurements of your frame while unstrung and plug them in. The site will tell you the best tension to maintain the structural integrity of your frame.
