Looking for a string similar to Alu Power 16L, but more durable

I love the feel of Alu Power 16L, but it at most lasts me 5-6 hours of serious play before breaking. I was recommended Kirschbaum Super Smash Orange due to the measured similarity to Alu Power, and I can attest to them feeling more or less the same, but it still breaks too fast for my budget.

Does anyone know of a string like these, but with half the tension loss and double the breakage time?

Did you try Tour Sniper?
Check the Instagrampage. Many pros changed from alu power to tour sniper. I think they have it in 1.25 and 1.30

I thought Kirschbaum is probably one of the very budget-friendly strings already if not the most.

Nothing likes Alu, but I recommend you to try MSV Bussard.

It's the labor cost that's hurting me since I don't string my own rackets. 27 dollars a racket in Palo Alto.

Tour M8 lasts forever. Restring Sync is pretty similar to ALU, but it has a lot more durability. Alternatively you could go up a gauge or two.

Try Alu lime 1.25 or RG 1.28 if you have a 100 16x19, crispier feel than standard silver 1.25, and longer lasting playability

Buy a reel of Alu and tuck in. It's all downhill from there.

Best option if you're dead set on more durability is trying something totally different to see if you like it. The replica approach doesn't work with strings.

If Tour Bite Round ever came to the market, I'm assuming it would be somewhat similar with much better playability duration.

It's not, tried it. Lower powered, deader, stiffer, brassy in the wrong racquet. But it does last though

BBO mains and ALU (or ALU rough) crosses, aka “The Jolly Rig 2.” You’ll still get a fair bit of ALU “magic” but in a more durable package.

I tried Alu 1.30 two or three times, it's OK but not great. It has less of that special alu feel when fresh, but still plays well, with less pop compared to 1.25, loses tension like crazy, and still plays well when loose

I'd still easily choose silver 1.25 over it
