Looking for a yellow Poly.

I've been looking for a neon yellow/lime poly that 1. has good ball feel/feedback. 2. plays crisp, and 3. has a thin version (1.20 or thinner). Good ball feel is by far the number one requirement. Anything else is secondary. Poly in general has good control/spin so I'm not too critical about those. Power wise the more the better. But I know you can't have it all so this isn't a big deal.

Polys that I like:
- Solicon confidential 1.15. Current main string. Very good ball feel and crisp. Feels very connected to the ball.
- ALU Power.
- RS Lyon, wish it was a bit more crisp. But very good feel.
- WC Silverstring

Yellow strings that I tried but didnt work:
- Cyclone: feels too plasticky.
- Signum Pro Yellow jacket: very good feel. But gave elbow discomfort. I'm thinkg whether I should give it another try.
- Kirschbaum Flash: forgot exactly why but it was mediocre.
- Hyper G: From what I remember it played stiff/plasticky and had no feel. Willing to give another try if people think it's a good option.

Never tried:
- Yonex poly tour pro: from what I read it's pretty muted.
- ALU Power lime: Some say it plays different from the silver/gray 1.25. Not sure how different, but if I'm paying the same price as the regular ALU, I expect it to play very close. If it was cheaper, 'somewhat close to the regular ALU' would be acceptable.

Appreciate your input!

Yonex PTP is good but boy did it start losing tension on me on an 16x19. On a 18x racket I think it kept tension much better.

I too like a yellow string it goes great with my racket and too me it seems like you can track/see the racket head/sweet spot better. The big yellow circle is easy to see

Yonex PTP was magic for me. Not muted.

Maybe I should try it. It seems to be a popular string and I can get the reel for pretty cheap.

Try Hexonic Power in Yellow

I didn't mind PTP as a full bed, but it works beautifully as a cross string with a crisper shaped string. Maybe a Yellow Jacket/PTP hybrid is worth a look?

This is why my stringer recommends the red VCT and not the gray.

IT is only in 1.25 but I have been EXTREMELY impressed with Grapplesnake Alpha. Soft but crisp, moderate shape (not too sharp), holds tension well enough.

I also love yellow strings. I blame Roddick:

Gamma ocho
Ocho only comes in 1.30 and 1.25. Great string, though. Very crisp, grippy, nice pop.

Excellent synopsis. One thing though; Grapplesnake alpha comes only in 1.25 if I remember correctly.

@Arzivu - Thank you, and yes, corrected -- was thinking of Game Changer, which is 1.20, although the green may be a bit too green for the OP's liking. But I left it in, just for good measure.

Thank you! That is really comprehensive. More so even than what TW carries!
