Looking for arm friendly new stick

Ok, with my first episode of tennis elbow about 6 years ago I switched to Volkl (PB V1 Mid) and couple years ago switched to Organix 4 (105) and really like them. I am looking to get new rackets and demo some Volkl rackets but believ the SG Organix 4 is probably the best racket for me. My dilemma is I do not want to spend $400 on a couple new rackets that are the same as what I currently play with. There is absolutely nothing new with the SG 4. The Organix 4 is extended at 27.6 and I really would like to stay with extended. I do not believe Volkl as any other extended models. I am wondering if there are any non Volkl rackets I should consider. I bang my serve (over 100) and at my age I think arm friendly is important or I could have problems. I don't need a power rack, control is good. I hit a lot of spin, big slice back hand, slice serve, top/slice forehand. I would be interested in string pattern that would give more spin action. My gut tells me the SG 4 is the racket but I really want a new toy.

Keep your current Organix 4 and buy a couple of grommet sets for the new Super G 4.

Swap the grommets and voila, now you've got yourself a pair of Super G 4 for less than $15.

tried them all

And I only use Pro Kennex's and Donnays.
I have some listed if curious, more will be posted.
Even Yonex and Volkls, the Donnays and Kennex are perfect for my game.
But as tennis is....
it is all Personal Preference ( but these will be nice to your elbow)

there is actually a Yonex that is arm friendly? Which model? I remember the days in 80s when I owned a Yonex, very stiff but you sure could crush the ball :)

Looking for spin and arm-friendly racquet, go for Prince Tour lines.
You might find one if you review each racquet's specs under Prince.

The Pacific Mid Pluses play a little more like mids than some other prands yet have the mid plus ability from the back court...Check out the Xfeelpro 95 if you a fit advanced allcourter and the X force pro 98 if you hang back a little more.. TheX Feel tour is nice on the arm but more for defensive players.

I also like Angell TC 95 and the Volkl 10 line in theory... havent hit much with them but I liked them. The Donnay silver and platinum, 99's are good too

the# of arm friendly companies out there is tragically small.

The Organix 7 310g was slightly extended at 27.3" but also harder to find now. The Super G line only has the lighter 7 at standard length.

If the racquet you are using is working for you STAY with that racquet. I've been demoing, buying, selling, racquets over the years and I have always ended up back with the racquet I have been playing with for years. I started with the Volkl V1 years ago (after not playing for 5 years) and progressed to the Volkl C10 Pro Tour. I've gone the gambit of trying racquet after racquet and nothing plays or feels like the current C10 Pro Tour.
I like the idea of the grommet swap out. If you like the Organix 4 and it helps your game I would save a lot of time and just stay with that racquet. I spent a lot of $$$ and time on trying to fix something that was not broken. You will get just as many different racquet selections as postings here on this thread.

Currently using a Vcore Tour G 330, and it's very stable and plush. A lot of people say it's too heavy for them, but I think I may need to up the swing weight, being that I'm used to a 350 sw

+1 for the Prince Tour line. Absolutely love last year's Tour 100 16x18. I am actually contemplating between switching back to that or my Tecnifibre 315 Ltd. after extensive demoing.

I got tired of picking up demos so I actually just bought the Wilson Burn 100S. I hit with it a short while at the store and liked it although I know it was a spontaneous purchase, just bored of the Volkl. I get rackets cheaper than anywhere so I figure if I don't like it I can always sell it and go back to the Volkl. If I like the Burn then I will buy another and bag..I plan to hit with it today or tomorrow so will see how it goes..:)

Another vote for the Yonex Ezone Ai series. The Ai 98 got insane reviews and was a contender for racquet of the year last year. Per the TW reviewers, it is a "mix of the APD and the Wilson Blade 98". Very strong praise.

I am moving to the 2015 Blade 98s as I have TE. Arm friendly, spin pattern. Might need to lead it up though. Give it a try. Not extended however.

So, let me get this straight... you were looking for an arm friendly racquet, and decided to go with an impulse buy of a racquet with a stiffness rating of 73?

I think you are spot on. The current Volkl 4 I play with has been a great racket. I do have some concerns (elbow) about the Wilson Burn 100S and I think I will list on ****. I'm coming to realize that the Volkl has been a great racket for me, I'm just p*sssed that the new version is identical look, frame. I'm curious if Volkl has another model very similar to the Volkl SG 4? I can't get excited spending $400 on a couple replacements..

Hey man, no problem. I hope you do what you want and it makes you happy. Just thought you were looking for an arm friendly stick, that's all.

I too am switching racquets again right now, albeit back to something I've played with before. Sometimes I feel the same way as you, and wonder why I don't just stick with my current racquet instead of spending more money.

Agree. Burn 100s is a great stick but possibly the worst of all for the arm. You should at least tlread TWs review. I tried it for an hour and it was really harsh. Go sell it.

I used to use the Volkl Catapult 4 which is the predecessor to your Organix 4. I now use the Volkl Organix V1 Pro which is a very similar shaped frame, response and feel. It's heavier by 30g and much better than the 4. I think you should try that out for sure if you want to stick to Volkl.
