Looking for new rackets

Hello all who read this post.
First off, thank you for taking time off to read this post.

I'm looking to buy a racket, but my top choices are the Babolat Pure Strike 16 x 19, Dunlop Biomimetic M3.0, Head Graphene Radical Pro, YONEX Ezone DR 98, and the Wilson Ultra 97.

What I look to use is controllable power, a nice and plush feel, and a forgiving response.

Thank you :DDD

Why not demo those racquets?

My pick from that list is DR 98; second picks is Pure Strike 16x19. Not played with with Wilson Ultra 97 yet, so no comments on that.

Plush feeling racquets: Consider Wilson Blade 98, Prince Textreme Tour 100P/95, Volkl Super G 10 295, Babolat Pure Control/Tour, ProKennex 7G/5G/Ki5 & Pacific X Feel Tour.

DR 98 is pretty stiff so not plush at all even strung at low tension...

Ultra is a very easy racquet to hit with and the plushest of all the one you listed...
Try it out

I've hit with the Dunlop and have the Babolat. Neither are plush. The Babolat however feels softer. I find the TW University Racquet Vibration Frequency very useful...

Babolat Pure Strike 16 x 19 - 136 Vibration Frequency, 68 Stiffness
YONEX Ezone DR 98- 141 Vibration Frequency, 63 Stiffness
Wilson Ultra 97 - 145 Vibration Frequency, 63 Stiffness
Dunlop Biomimetic M3.0- 146 Vibration Frequency, 67 Stiffness
Head Graphene Radical Pro- 149 Vibration Frequency, 68 Stiffness

Stiffness and Vibration Frequency generally go hand in hand but other factors (dead weight, swing weight, etc) can vary the relationship. Case in point is the Pure Strike 16x19 which has the highest stiffness in this group yet the lowest vibration frequency. To me... the lower the stiffness, the plusher the racquet feels. But... the lower the vibration frequency, the more comfortable the racquet is. If you really want a frame plush and comfortable... try a Prince Tour 100 (either pattern). Having had some arm issues in the past, I have demoed and played many of the racquets with lower vibration frequencies.

I disagree; have a DR 98 and it is not stiff at all. Agree with TW playtesters on this; it has a score of 85 for comfort compared to 74 of Ultra 97. Ultra 100 has a comfort score of 81, but has stiffness rating of 69.

From Andy on Dislikes:
DR 98: "None. The EZONE DR 98 is one of the best racquets I've ever playtested at TW."
Ultra 97: "The Ultra 97 was too unforgiving and uncomfortable on off-center hits. It felt crisp and hollow."

OP, one more good racquet is Becker London for controllable power and plush feel, and you can buy 2+ for the same money with the current sale!
