I've been playing with a Fischer pro tour ft for awhile now and love it. I've tried babolat aero and didn't really like it. Looking for another racquet now. Only thing I don't like about my Fischer is I sometimes get mishits and frame hits. Any recommendations?

The specs for your Fischer, so you can compare current frames to it:
Fischer Pro Tour FT

I thought of at first, the ProKennex Kinetic 7G - it's extended length (27.5" vs your Fischer's 27.4"), and it offers a 16x20 string pattern like your Fischer. but it does swing heavier than it. Truthfully though, I preferred the standard length 5G - the 7G felt a little sluggish in comparison, and the 5G which was a bit too light, was perfect for me with a little lead tape. In any case, they're both comfortable racquets to use. I've not hit with the Pro Tour FT, but the consensus is that it's a comfortable racquet - racquets with the ProKennex Kinetic system have that in spades.

But wait! How about the ProKennex Ki 5? I hit with a previous gen years ago and liked it - but don't remember much in detail. But it's almost a dead ringer for the Pro Tour FT visually with a very similar cosmetic.

Sorry guys, it's actually the "Fischer Pro Tour FT Air carbon TI" that I play with. It's a red, black, and white frame. Not sure if that changes things or not.

I was just about to ask if it was the black/red version or the black/yellow one:

I used the black/red one...18 years ago? Of all the Fischers I've used over the years, this was the only one I did NOT like. Just never got going with it.

As others have said, its 27.4in long, so you'll likely want to stick with something extended. Check out the Dunlop CX200+, or the VCORE 98+ (my current frame). Also, the 2020 Yonex EZONE 98+ was just released, but the standard length version was very comfortable to hit with (I'm assuming the '+' is the same frame but 1/2" longer).

Thanks McLovin! Is there another Fischer you recommend? I think I might want to try to demo another Fischer also.

Unfortunately, finding a new Fischer can be problematic given they’ve long since sold their racquet business to Pacific, and Pacific no longer has a presence in the US.

But...lucky for you, there’s @michael valek, our resident Pacific contact from across the pond.

Your best bet is the X Tour 97 (21/22mm beam, 16x20 pattern). It’s not extended, but michael can get you replacement pallets that are longer if you want to stay w/ 27.4.

He may still have access to some ‘new old stock’ Fischers (I’ve bought a few from him in the past).

I used to play with the yellow/green/black Fischer M Pro 98 (which I still have and up for sale) but i moved to the wilson blade 98 v718x20 and it was pretty good but I am now moving to the Yonex Ezone 2020. I have my Fischers and Blades up for sale.
