i played the whole last fall and sprign season with the prince tournament nylon  and did pretty well with it. now im looking for little better strings but im short on money so im thinking about using the tournament nylon as the mains and the gosen (generic) micro 17s as the crosses .. does this seem okay? o yeah and im thinking about the prince nylon mains and the babolat super fine play crosses

i am a varsity tennis player, semiwestern fhand, one handed backhand, 115-120 first serve.

btw. the tournament nylon used to go dead really quick with my serve and forehand so do you think ill be better off with the "hybrid"? thanks

Why do you need to hybrid it? You could just use the Gosen generic straight up. Do you have durability issues? If you are having durability issues, you could always try Gosen Polylon 17 mains and the Gosen generic for the crosses. That way, you can get the durability and fairly good playability.
