Looking to purchase a new racquet

Well, I'm a casual player, but not a horrible player. I'm going to start playing seriously (at least 3 times a week). I don't know what type of style my game play is.

Some problems I have are serving hard and putting top spin on forehands.

My friend is an avid tennis player and I bought my first racquet from him 3 years ago, a dunlop 98in head racquet and I couldnt imagine going any bigger.

So I'm deciding between the Volkl Organix 9 or Head YOUTEK IG Prestige S

The Volkl seems really interesting to me since I've never tried a Volkl racquet before but based on reviews, the Head seems better.

Also, any recommendations on string and string tension if I'm getting it prestrung from tennis warehouse?

I'd take the Volkl if I was you… The Prestige is quite demanding and needs some lead.

As for strings… I have no clue regarding your level and play style so I cannot possibly make an effective recommendation… Perhaps Volkl Cyclone Tour. It is a powerful and soft polyester which gives a great access to spin.

Def not poly for a noob.

For anyone purchasing any racquet I would say Pure Drive, but if it's between the two you're trying to decide from I'd say Volkl 9 is better b/c of the solid feel. The Prestige S is very low powered and you'll need to swing pretty hard to get any sort of power.
