Any chance you can compare these? Two shoes with slightly wider fits at similar price points. Most interested in how they compare as far as cushioning, fit, and stability. Thanks!

EDIT: If you could also comment on the KSwiss Ultrashot Teams that would be rad.

I would start off by stating that, in my opinion, the Hypercourt Express 2 will likely be the best all-around option for: a wider or roomier fit, good cushioning, and decently stable. Also fairly light feeling as well. The Mirage 300 SPD has pretty good cushion under-foot, similar to the Hypercourt Express 2, but it feels a bit more snug in the width (maybe just the upper material). I also noticed the length is short in my usual size 9.5 US, so that makes it a bit difficult, because if I go up a half size, the length will likely be a bit long, but in my usual size 9.5 its not very comfortable, kind of cramps my toes. Decently stable though. The Ultrashot Team is pretty comfortable and lightweight, however for more of a serious player, I think it might be lacking just slightly when it comes stability. Pretty comfort though, however it too also fits slightly short in length, so there is that question of going with my usual size and hoping that it breaks in around the toes, and wear thin socks, or go up a half size and risk getting more of a sloppy fit.

I will also mention that I love the Hypercourt Supreme, although a little more glove-like with the bootie construction built into the shoe (compared to Hypercourt Supreme). That said, I noticed that they sort of stretch a bit with wear like most comfort oriented shoe, so maybe worth a consideration. Diadora Speed Blushield Fly 3 is also a very comfortable option, but also a bit higher in price.

I hope some of those details help you out.

Dang Troy, thanks for the detailed response! Very helpful. I’ve been wearing the Hypercourt Express, and the Hypercourt Supreme and Blueshield Fly were also on my radar. Of the three, which do you think has the most forefoot cushioning in the midsole (I replace the stock insoles). Much appreciate your input!

Glad to help! Just trying on the Blushield Fly 3, and although pretty comfortable, it is much more snug fitting than I recall when I tried them originally. So for someone looking for a generous or wider width, maybe not the best option. Between the Express and the Supreme, I would say cushion is pretty good with both, maybe a bit more material underneath with the Express, but for the Supreme it still feels fairly plush, even though maybe a bit lower ride.

Just logged to say amen to the Blushield Fly 3 being tight! Particularly toe squeezing for me.
