Just watched the video and I was impressed. Than I used his link and went to their website to find out the price. $210 is way too much, in my opinion....

Woah yeah $210 is hefty... TW Europe have them at about $145usd (converted) so if TW U.S stock them I think it should be around that mark, much more reasonable.

Except they have saod they are jot getting new lottos this year unless things have changed
Yes, and they said the same about Mizuno as well. I’m not sure what that’s about since other U.S. retailers are carrying new models from both brands. Apparently it has to do with something other than availability.

After looking at reviews on the Lotto Raptor Hyper Pulse 100 I decided to hunt a pair down in Europe. I am REALLY glad I did! This shoe is nothing short of amazing. Imagine the comfort and stability of an Adidas SoleCourt Boost with the mobile and quickness of the Lotto Mirage 100 or Adidas Ubersonic 4s (but with more cushion). As Foot Doctor Zach said, "This shoe is the best of both worlds". Once they break-in and you cinch up the laces, they are literally a part of your foot. This is a great "speed shoe" for bigger guys or those of us with flat feet as the stability and support is great at a minimum of weight. FIVE STARS!

Hunt the internet and you can find a site that is selling them for 95. Euros with free shipping over $150. I would buy two pairs and get the 35% discount and free shipping. That's a good deal!

This post made me order a pair. It will be very interesting to see how they are for me. I play with Solecourt Boost now. How did you do size-wise? I normally use 46 2/3 in Adidas and choosed the 47 size in this one.

How would you judge their width? Would they work for someone with a wide foot?

Lotto's EU sizing here is strange and large. Whereas an EU44 is a US10 in most shoes, in Lottos the 43 = 10, 43.5 = 10.5, and so on. So US sizing is accurate but EU sizing is large. I had to size down from my usual 44 (10) to 43 (9.5) in the Solecourt (there is no 43.5 in Adidas), while in these Lottos a 43 or 43.5 (for width help) is fine, but length wise my ideal would be a 43. Long story short: you may find these long.

However the shoe hugs the foot well so you can get away with a little more room.

I played with the Solecourt Boost immediately before switching to the Lotto Raptor. I tried a couple of other well regarded shoes in between. I thought these shoes fit very true to size. I was a size 13 US in the SCB and the size 13 in the Raptor fits great.

I have a medium - but very flat - foot and I think they fit great. They are not as wide as a Solecourt Boost or Diadora Blushield 5, but not as narrow as a Nike Vapor Pro.

The shoe completely wraps around your foot. It feels like you are barefoot, with cushioning underfoot. The Vibram soles are completely unique that way.

They’re very good shoes although there is one thing I would wish for: more feedback from the soles. The compound is so strange to me, the court feel a little odd and it makes no squeak whatsoever on hard court. While I don’t like crazy sticky squeaky shoes I do like a little bit, and a bit better court feel. In this way I prefer the GR8s and Diadoras. The Lottos are good shoes but I’ve been finding myself going back to my worn-in-nicely Asics, which don’t fit my foot as well but I have to say are great shoes in terms of cushioning and energy return, especially when broken in.

Wow! For me personally, that is the best part. The VIBRAM soles literally feel like I have a rubber coating on the bottoms of my barefoot. They are not a squeaky sole, I agree, but they have trends court feel IMO. You aren't getting that? Are they laced up well?

I am a size 48 in the Adidas Solecourt Boost and a size 47 in the Lotto Raptor. For me, these run very true to size.

If anyone else has found a decent deal on these shoes anywhere online, please post it here. Looks like they are running low now on sizes in Europe too.

Might be stupid questions:
1. when will it be available in US market?
2. With 6-month warranty? If so, once I buy from EU, how would I get the warranty.

Thx in advance.

Unsurprisingly, they all loved it. It's a phenomenal shoe, IMO that I managed to get months ago (for a really high price), and just couldn't find a restock anywhere. So glad TW finally got them!

I want to try the Eclipsion 4's in a few months, but I know these will hold me over till then. If anyone's curious but unsure, just pay the money.

At a similar price, what do people think? These, or SCB? I'm tentative to spend this much on a shoe but both of these are so hyped up, and this is the first spring I'll be playing a lot of tournaments, so why not?

I have a wide toe area so these two and Hypercourts are my only real options right now.

It’s not a bad choice to have, they’re both great. You could make an argument to get the SCB just because they could be discontinued at any time given the Barricade release. Raptor’s are so good though. Both have great durability but I think the Lotto’s are just a tad more comfy, and I think last just a little bit longer. I’d also say my ankle felt just a little bit more secure in the Lotto’s than the SCB’s? But that’s like saying a 9.5/10 is better than a 9/10, cause again, they’re both great.

Tough choice. Either one is correct, IMO. Maybe decide it based on cosmetic or price.

When I saw this thread in May I did not think much of them as I tried the mirage speed 100 and they were not that good. These sound perfect !

It doesn't look like we are getting the clay version, but Tennis Warehouse Europe currently have the clay version in size 9 & 9.5. Looks like they will also be getting the Saffron colorway in clay in March.
Cheers,
Chris, TW.

Got my Raptors today (US). Out-of-the-box impression is very good!
My other play shoes (Ubersonic 4), not that crazy about them. For myself, they are not cushioned enough (compared to previous SoleMatch), and have other issues I'm not feeling them.
I've used Lotto's in the past, models equivalent to their current cheaper models, with mixed results (shin splits, etc.). These Raptors look and feel more like the "old" standard tennis shoes, thick cushioned heel and forefoot, no gimmicky "lacing system", well padded tongue.
As a bonus, they come with white and black shoelaces for your styling choice (went with black).
Size wise, seem to be true to size (10.5) with some room left at the top. I wear only thin summer style socks, so don't expect any issues. Toe box seems to be flexible enough to accommodate wide feet.
Impressed also with the insoles: while most shoes I used came with paper thin insoles, these are fairly thick, even in the forefoot area.
Next, play time.

How is the sizing compared to Asics Gel Resolution or Solution Speed FF?

So did you find the Raptor in size 10 US to be longer than your Solecourt size 9.5 US ? How about a comparison of the width of these two sizes, overall and in the toe box specifically ?

It's been awhile since I had them but yeah, the Lotto 10 was longer than the SCB 9.5. Both had nicely roomy toeboxes, the SCB a little more so width wise from what I remember. Forefoot cushioning was better with the Lottos as the SCB, for all the comfort in the heel, is actually a little thin up front. Both good shoes though, albeit it on the heavier side.

Lotto sz 11 fits me perfect (just like the Barricades or Asics Solution Speed FF2, and most of other shoes).
SCB fit me in size 10.5

Why do these shoes companies make certain colors or styles ( like clay versions) only available in Europe and not the USA or vice versa?
