Just wondering....

If I use size 12US of Diadora Blushield, Diadora Fly, and 11.5 US of Asics GR6 Wide, what size should i get for Raptor 100?

For me the raptors toebox is wider than the R8 in standard width of the same size (fresh out of the box)

So you telling me that the raptors felt narrower despite SIZING UP is simply a bit surprising.

I kind of regret not going down to 11.5 from 12 for my raptors, while going down 11.5 in the R8 standard would be unfathomably uncomfortable

Just really surprised at your initial impressions. Like really really surprised LOL

Raptor toebox felt more compressed than the Resolution 8 when I sized up, yes. The Resolution 8’s ran fairly long compared to those in the past. Like I mentioned before, I feel the thickness of the insole made the Raptor feel a little more compressed in the toe area. Regardless, we can both agree it’s a great shown

Just played a couple doubles sets in these shoes and I am really liking the midsole support from the open cell layer from this design. I went true to size here with a US9 where I have really been sizing up a half size when it has come to more recent models (i.e. Nike Air Zoom GP Turbo, Adidas ADIZERO UBERSONIC, etc.) and I have felt no discomfort in my 30 minute running session and also during my 3 hours of play in these. Hopefully more designs come to the market as it is kind of a letdown that they only have two colorways available and only one colorway available on TW.

Just played the first practice in my new Hyperpulse 100 today. I wear size 13, bought 13 and the fit was perfect. Size 13 for them is 30,5cm, I normally wear 31cm, so the fit is slightly larger indeed, as reported. Very happy with the shoes, not much to add to what previous posters have said. Cusioning, maneuverability and ligthness all in one perfect, tight package. Sublime feel of balance and support on small adjustment steps. By far the best shoes I've ever tried!

Tried these on today - felt far too tight in the forefoot for me right at the base of the big toe. Similar pressure to the original NB Fresh Foam Lavs

You found these with an outsole warranty?

Nope - they had so little in stock - I tried on anything they had and was curious.

Only had Cage 4 in a 10 - could not even get my smaller foot in,

10.5 in the raptors squeezed me - and after my Lav debacle - I am not willing to tolerate pressure in that area of my foot

Lol dude you can't just find a correctly sized cage 4 from any online retailer with free returns just to try it? If I lived in America I would take full advantage of the flexible return policies. Literally such low risk.

I love these shoes but I have a couple of complaints & questions.

Firstly, it rubs hard against my ankle bones (malleoli) and hurts if I do them up tight, (which is surprising given the large stack under foot with the insole) and I need to lace them super loose at the top to avoid this. Is there another solution to this?

Secondly, their website says "Please choose your country from the list, this will provide you the correct pricing, currency, and shipping costs for your area" which implies that it will be in Australian dollars after choosing Australia, but I was charged US dollars instead so like $100 more, pretty damn expensive over here. When I complained about being mislead by their "correct currency for you area" claim they refused to admit that they had made a mistake with the claim about currency, didn't apologise & didn't give me any discount.

It's a pity because they seem like great shoes apart from the rubbing on my ankle.

Was pumped to try these based on the positive feedback. Put them on to test fit and the lace holding loop on the tongue snapped off when I just barely pulled on it to move the laces through to another set of eyelets. Pretty disappointed with the build quality since I’m way tougher on other shoes with that loop without issue. Guess I’ll hope a replacement pair from Lotto have better stitching

Have any of your Raptors become a little slick after a couple months? I’m going on 3 months now, still decent tread, but they have become rather slick. I probably need to snag another pair sooner vs later.

Question to other raptor users. I have been using this for couple of weeks. The padding behind the ankle that prevents the heel from slipping out has slipped down in the shoe. I can feel it slightly below the ankle and heel does not stay in place. Has anyone else faced this issue? I am thinking of making a hole in the black cloth inside and poking the sponge/cushion material up. any other suggestions?

The shoe otherwise has good cushion and the outsole looks good as new.

Pin point stance player here. Went through the black outsole and reached white material for right shoe in 3 months. Otherwise great shoes!

Mine have this same issue. It’s gotten to the point where it is bunched up and irritating my Achilles. I might look at doing what you mention but the soles are also almost done so I may not even bother. I like the shoe overall but this issue and the original quality issue I had with the lace holder tearing off immediately have me thinking I’ll probably go elsewhere for my next shoe

Lotto make great shoes and great gear. As with their soccer shoes, they have always managed a great balance of fit, comfort, lightness and performance. The clothing designs are also consistently the nicest on the tour, especially for the women, so it's really baffling that most people just ignore the brand.

I'm currently wearing a pair of Mirage 200s. I love the Mirage 100s, but wanted to try a shoe with an "inner sock" or whatever they call it. It's kind of strange putting them on, but once they are on and you are playing they are super comfortable, while still performing really, really well.

Just put in an order for these--found them for about 100USD equivalent up in Canada. Have worn solution speeds and court ff's since 2016 and nikes prior to that. Couldn't justify paying $100 more for new ff3s, so excited to try something new.
I have 4 unopened pairs just to stock up before they invariably get discontinued. Great shoe. Unfortunately, I paid full price.

Tried to find the images again and they seem to have disappeared. They were on a euro webshop.

Yes, new colorway : like the gray and white version, with the difference that instead of the red plastic support, the color is pistachio green; moreover, the LOTTO logo is black, with some white markings

I had attached images but they are no longer showing... may have been removed or more likely my error... (couldn't work out how to link the images)

New colorway I found is all Blue, including the sole.

I'll try to repost the images.

Edit: can't seem to link to the images.

I have an interesting find on the newest Raptors colourway, the white/black/pistacchio:

https://www.tenniswarehouse-europe.com/Lotto_Raptor_100_Clay/descpageMSLOTTOT-LMRHCWB-ES.html

I used the Raptors for about a year, but then I switched to Diadora Blushield Torneo, solely because of the ankle collar, which was bothering my ankle bone and my Achilles tendon. It's something that many people complain about, regarding the Raptors. Otherwise, for me, it's just a perfect shoe. Torneos are slightly narrower for me in the forefoot, which sometimes gives me a minimal discomfort, but the heel area is super comfortable.

Anyway, I saw this new colourway and I liked it so much that I ordered it, hoping that maybe, just maybe, they did something to address the ankle collar issues. The hope was minimal, because the shoe has the same name, unlike the Torneo 2 or B.Icon 2, which seem almost the same as their predecessors, but fix some flaws.

I was surprised to see that indeed, something has been changed. If you look closely at the image below, you will see two stitches in the heel area. This is something new, it was not there in the earlier colourways. It indicates that they have been working on this area in some way. Also, the foam that forms the ankle collar feels significantly softer, compared to the pair that I bought a year ago. Now this might be subjective, one shoe is new and the other has some months on it, but if anything, I guess the foam should get softer and broken in with time, not harder?

Overall, it feels more comfortable when worn and there is a definite difference. I'm not sure if it's a big enough change, because the height of the heel area is still the same, but I think it shows that they are aware of the problem.

This shoe has a very deep heel counter which puts the ankle collar up a bit higher.

It's great if you use a thick orthotic or gel wedge for PF, but I can see it being an issue with the stock insole.

just picked up a pair of the Black colorway and comparing it to my launch colorway it is different. Agreed with Maciej there is now a stitch on the ankle collar that seems (from my experience) to fix the cushion slipping down issue and the foam is for sure softer than my launch colorway pair. Also the Tongue feels a bit more cushioned too. For me the shoe went from a 7/10 to a 9/10.

Can you tell if the fit changed at all or is the shape still the same?

Shape feels virtually the same. Maybe slightly larger. They feel the same width wise as my original pair but not sure how much those have stretched. After a light jog around the heel feels significantly better though.

Also for anyone who didnt know like me, the black colorway comes with the accent color (teal) laces which look really good.

Does this colorway still have the ankle collar issue where it hurts the Achilles? I haven't used the Raptors before, but I'm probably going to pull the trigger tonight on a pair for $111.
Pulled the trigger, I'll find out the hard way if I made a mistake.

Just got my black/green colorway in the mail today. Can't wait to go out on the courts. Just from trying them on, they are a little snug, but otherwise fit true to size. I think I could probably get away with a half size up as long as I really tighten up the laces. I finally understand what people mean whey they say that they feel like the shoe is a part of their foot. Until now I've always gone with really durable shoes (Barricade 2016, Gel Resolution 7, Rush Pro 3.0, etc.). They always felt like I was wearing shoes and I was carrying their weight when I ran around on the court. Just from some light shadow footwork, the Raptor 100s felt like they were much more natural and responsive when I plant, push off, and run both laterally and vertically. I also can't believe just how much cushioning is. I thought the Rush Pro 3.0s were very comfortable, but the relative light feeling of the Raptors along with the cushioning all over my ankle and on the tongue just put the Raptors in another league. If they perform as well as I expect them to, I might buy an extra pair when it goes on sale.

Let us know how they do on the courts after you wear them for a bit. After the "Honeymoon" is over.

Reporting in with my early impressions of the Raptor 100. Disclaimer: I'm coming from a pair of balding Wilson Rush Pro 3.0s. I am also not a slider, so unfortunately I cannot share any impressions on that front.

So far I've used my pair (black/mint green colorway) for 2 hours on hard courts. Collectively one hour was spent drilling ground strokes and volleys, and the other hour was spent on point play. The shoes felt much lighter than their weight, and they wrapped around my feet so securely and comfortably that at times I struggled a little bit with my footwork because I genuinely forgot there was a sole attached to the bottom of my feet. This is meant as a high praise to the shoe, not a complaint. On lateral movement I had great stick when I wanted to plant my feet, and I had significantly more bounce when I pushed off for a change of direction. I'm a "deceptively quick" mover but I'm not going to make the podium on any sprints. With that in mind, I felt much faster on the court with these than the Wilsons. The lighter feeling also meant I could make little adjustment steps more easily than I could with the Wilsons. My serves felt better too because I was getting a lot more bounce than I was used to, and the biggest benefit for me is that I don't have to abuse my arm as much to still get the same pace. No complains up at net either. My footwork has been a little spotty the last few sessions, so I need to be more diligent the next few times I'm on the court. I was on my heels a lot and not split stepping as much as I should be, but I should have a better feel for the shoes when my footwork is more on point in the coming weeks.

As far as the fit is concerned, I mentioned some snugness in an earlier post when I wore the shoes fresh out of the box. After 2 hours, the snugness has loosened ever so slightly to where the fit is comfortably secure. I had no heel sleeping, and my toes were locked in without any pain or discomfort. If you have a medium width foot, I feel like you can go true to size. No runner's knot needed.

All in all, I couldn't be happier.
