low profile, "quick" shoe

looking for a shoe that fits the above description--something nimble, that feels close to the court. durability and excessive padding aren't a prerequisite, i don't play every day, and i'm not a heavy guy. just looking for the closest thing to a track shoe, in a tennis shoe.

any suggestions much appreciated.

I've strayed away from them a few times but have always gone back to it.

low to ground, fast and nimble.. Oscillates follewd by a long distance by Enqvists\encourages... i have them both... my kind of shoe too!

I'd second the Nike Breathe Free IIs - light, low-to-the-ground, relatively durable.

If durability is not a hugh issue, then Diadora Speed Pro is the one. The other Nike suggestions would also work.

Any of the vapor variants, asics resolution2, grass-version barricade, I saw a slick looking lacoste tennis shoe today, can't remember the name.
Yonex 205 looked quite low profile. propulse 2 also felt quite good.

Personally it's easier to rule out shoes - Barricade V, Ballistecs etc. than rule in shoes.
