Lower to Ground Shoes 4 WOMEN

I contacted TW about minimalist tennis shoes for women, and received a detailed response that might inform others. I have not yet tried any of these shoes. The following is from TW:

"I have consulted with our play testers, and unfortunately, due to the lateral motion required to play tennis, most tennis shoes will be heavier and higher off the ground than any minimalist shoe. This is to ensure the proper support is provided for foot motion during play.

There are a few different lightweight, low to the ground options you may want to consider. A list of the suggested shoes can be found below:"

Nike Zoom Vapor 9.5 Tour

I'd also recommend the adidas adizero CC Tempaia III! I love that shoe, it's light and low to the ground, super fast feeling on court! Plus it looks great!

Also, the Solution Speed 2 is quick and low to the ground as well.

Just my two cents! :)

For a lightweight, low, running shoe feeling my daughter is now wearing KSwiss Ultra Express and very happy with them.

KSwiss Ultra Express

She wears the men's version to get the width she wants. Don't know if the construction is different than the women's version.

She previously wore and loved the NB 996 but the durability was too poor. One pair of NB 996 fell apart within a month. The first pair of KSwiss are holding up well so far. I think she will get 6-9 months of good use out of them. They don't have a durabilty guarantee like the NB 996 though.
