I so wanted to like those shoes...but my feet wanted to kill me after playing. maybe 1/2 size up next time...
The Ross stores in Sarasota have been where I've had the most luck, however finding tennis-specific stuff can be tough. The only sure-fire spot is the Nike Outlet in Ellenton (just north of Bradenton). Over the past year, I have seen tennis stuff every time I've gone in there. It's not always the greatest, but there have been shirts/shorts/jackets/shoes every time.Im coming down to Naples on Saturday for the Coaches convention then heading up to Bradenton before I fly out of Sarasota....where should I search to find deals before i come back to Philly?
FYI the Ellenton outlets also have Lacoste/Adidas/Under Armour stores. Lacoste and Adidas always have tennis gear. However, the Lacoste prices are often close to retail. It all depends on what sale they're running. I've gotten Lacoste tennis shorts for $20, but often they're priced around $50.Thanks I'll give them all a check while I'm in town
The Ellesse shirts? To me they feel like pretty good quality material, very stretchy too and not plasticy at all. On-par with any other nice tennis clothes I've found. The other styles I also got are the same.how's the quality? meaning, does the shirts feel like plastic? or does it feel like real material that'll wick off our nasty texas heat?
yea i saw them didn't pick them up thoughEllenton Nike outlet has Rafa's Roland Garros Gladiator shorts for $25 (unless the 30% sale goes away).
Also a couple of Wimbledon Gladiators were on the rack for $11! I picked up a pair for my friend. Looked like they only had XL left.
Thats awesome the tj maxx here in pittsburgh always has tennis stuff. I got 3 head t shirts for 7$ a piece. I also bought a ton of head socks there super cheapI went into TJMaxx this afternoon and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this...
...on the rack. The polo was $16.99 and the crew top was $12.99. I know these stores can have some good name brand clothing but usually you don't find anything from such relatively new-at-retail lines. Woo hoooo!!
Yeah, even being Dri-fit doesn't make up for being very thin. I have it and it will get wet and clingy. But great price.Found this at a local Ross. Picked it right up once I saw it was my size. Pro it was $13 and comfy, but one con is that it's too thin. You can easily see through the shirt. Other then that it's a great steal.
Haha yeah I only wear the white NikeCourt tee at home but never in play. Yes, the SW19 LB's are good looking! Too bad I didn't get them!Yeah, even being Dri-fit doesn't make up for being very thin. I have it and it will get wet and clingy. But great price.
And great job with the shoes - those SW19 LB's are gorgeous. I still have my black/lava Vapors in the box.
x may be 10 french opensFound the Nike Court bomber jacket at TJMaxx for $60 but it was a size L
Then found this Nike Court Rafa tee that had an X on it. Don't know what it means. Anyways it was $12 also at TJMaxx
I also found a UA Raid Crew (Murray's current crew line) for $13
Then I stopped by my local Platos Closet and found a Nike Court 'Steal The Show' tee with Rafa's bull logo on it for $12
