Lunar Ballistec ?

I'm thinking about buying a pair of the Nike Lunar Courtballistec's but I'm a little worried about the cushioning on the sole of the shoe. I've had a few pairs of the Vapor 9's which I liked, but after long days of practice or tough matches the bottoms of my feet would start to hurt. I mainly play on HC's so I'd like to have more sole cushioning than the Vapor 9's provided. For reference I currently play with Barricade 7's and they provide great cushioning.

Thanks for your help!!

I've tried both B7s and the Lunar Ballistecs. Great shoes, but pretty different in terms of feel.

Lunar Ballistecs are low to the ground (not as low as Vapors), have softer (but still responsive) cushioning in comparison to the Barricades. The Barricades, in my opinion, are more stable than "comfortable". LBs offer a much more comfortable, pillow-like ride with a great fit, due to the adaptive fit technology with the laces.

I don't think you'll have any problems with comfort when moving on to the LBs, but just be aware that you will wear them out much faster than your Barricades.

Good luck!

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it! I can wear out the barricades fairly quick but I think it's worth giving the Lunars a shot if their comfortable.

Well I haven't tried them, but the reports say that the new Barricades 2015 are much more comfortable than the previous one(s).

I tried on the new Barricades at a local store. Yes, they are more comfortable than previous Barricades, but they definitely still feel like Barricades. "Softer than the B7" is accurate, but don't expect it to feel like a Lunar Ballistec. The Asics GR6's I'm wearing now feel softer and less clunky than the Barricade 2015. Even though the weight is nearly the same, I get the feeling that the GR6's will feel quicker on the court. That doesn't necessarily mean the GR6's are better. The Barricades have their own unique appeal, and the 2015 model seems to keep with the tradition.
