Yes. I think Big Banger was their original string that came out 20 years ago. The string they are using as the anniversary string is Alu Power. It's still old.....but I'm pretty sure it's not 20 years old; maybe 12-15 years old for alu power. It's still the same...and the one most polys compare themselves to.

YOu can see some paint spackles on the package, from when the wall above was rollered. That was when luxilon put purple o ring dameners with every set. A vibra stopper they called it. Berdych will only use the purple. It's the only surviving set of orig. alu in the entire world.

I almost accidentally ordered the purple, glad I caught it and ordered the original silver which is the best.

It must be the people dye. Didn't seem to have the same slickness, ball pocketing, spin, etc. It wasn't a bad sitting by any means. But silver Alu Power is a special string when it's freshly strung. The purple version didn't have that feeling.

Now to think of it, more of a highlight yellow like Polyfibre TCS could do amazing with the electric blue, and to match Guga's famous RG Shirt lol
