Luxilon ALU Power Rough

Does anyone have any experience with a full string job of ALU Rough. I tried an ncode n6.1 the other day that was strung with ALU-Power the other day and loved the pop and control and thought that rough would give even more spin control. Any input with experience would be helpful, thanks!

i used a full set of alu power rough and i liked alu power more. they feel a lot alike but rough has a textureing on the surface for more spin. the alu power has more power, which is why i liked it more because i already hit with tons of spin. if you hit flat, you should use the rough. if you already hit with a lot of spin, i suggest the alu power.

I use a POG which is pretty spinny already and use an eastern grip so which would be a better choice?

yes but not in the POGs it was in n6.1 95 which i think had the 16x18 string pattern but not sure

well i use the n6.1 95 16x18 and i much prefer the alu power. its all up to you but i would have to say try the alu power. i like it a lot more and if you dont like it you could always try the other afterwards...

Used alu power rough in both of my old PD+'s, didn't really like it much, then again I think if it was in a different racquet it could of been better. I hit out a lot with it because of the power, but PD's are also very powerful racquets.

Since I switched to my O3 Tours and a syn gut(gosen og micro 17), I notice a lot of my shots landing in that would of been out with my PD.

alu power and alu power rough are both really powerful strings so that was probably what happened
