Was reading somewhere cooperation between Luxilon Big Banger ALU Rough 16L & Topspin Cyber Flash 1.25.
Would like opinion about using this two strings as hybrid……is that a good idea??
Wondering if anyone tried it already. Thx.

I agree with PT63, I think they play fairly similarly and you won't get much benefit from using the combo plus you would save a lot more $$ by just going with the CF. What are you using now and what kinda stick?

I am using Wilson K Factor KSix-One 95 (16x18) Racquet with Luxilon Big Banger ALU Power Rough 16L String as main and experimenting with cross.
For now as cross I have Babolat Fibertour but had Stamina & Dunlop Max Comfort before.
Trying to find a good combo.

can someone recommend a good combination for hybrid stringing. I like Alu Power rough or topspin cyber flash for main....but still looking for cross that would give power and spin....any recommendations? Thxs.

A softer string that plays more like a multi- and still maintains tension very well - LaserFibre.

so LaserFibre Laser Supreme. They have 16 on tennis warehouse...how about tension? What is recommended difference between mains and crosses.
And what is PSGD by the way??:)
Looking forward to trying it out, hopefully will add some pop to my game.
Thx again.

Softer crosses? Either Forten Sweet or POSG

(PSGD = Princ Synthetic Gut Duraflex
POSG= Price Original Synthetic Gut)

well I read this,
Main functions of main strings:
- Durability
- Generate spin
Main functions of cross strings:
- Power
- Comfort
And I guess to have more power need softer crosses. If I string main at 61lb what is good for cross and do we have to pre-stretch LaserFibre Laser Supreme and what percentage?
Also could find only gauge 16 and 17
