Luxilon Big Banger Alu Power vs Rough

Please help me decide which string is better by itself and in a hybrid combination with Natural Gut, Lux BB Alu Power or Alu Rough.

So far I like Alu Rough better by itself but I think the smoother Alue Power is safer for my NG string.

I prefer alu rough.
Didn't seem many more dammage on my strings then with alu power

Rough isn't going to be too "rough", the grooves are cut out rather than protruding, so it won't really rub the gut any more than a smooth string.

I’ll keep it alive. What do people prefer? The rough or smooth alu power. In a full bed I preferred the regular ice blue alu power. I actually found rough to be a bit jarring last time I played with it and it went dead rather quickly. In a hybrid I know many pros typically pair rough with natural gut.

I don't like Alu Power in general due to tension maintenance, but regular Alu in full bed (Alu Fluoro is actually really good!) and rough in hybrids

I’ve actually never played with alu fluoro. What does that play like compare to Alu power?
