Has anyone tried 4G on the mains with alu power rough crosses?
If so how did that play? What tension was used?

Thats a strange sort of setup. Not sure why you would want to do that, but if you must, god bless :)

That would seem to compromise 4G's defining feature: consistent playability.

ALU Power is very different in that respect. It starts off amazing and eventually drops to something I don't like (I can't speak for others). 4G, on the other hand, stays nicely above adequate for the whole duration.

4G comes in a rough version, with the same texture as ALU Rough. I'd go with that in the crosses if you're looking to spice up your 4G.
