Luxilon Spin/ALU/Rough strings

Just wondering what the differences were among the Luxilon Big Banger ALU Power Spin 16 String, Luxilon Big Banger ALU Power Rough 16L String, Luxilon Big Banger Rough 16 String, and Luxilon Big Banger ALU Power Fluoro 17 String.

The price range is about $2-$6 so I'm not so worried about that, I just wanted to know what others opinions are about these strings. I'm guessing that the 4 strings all provide you with exception spin/ballbit potential. Is there a "best" among the 4 mentioned above? I am currently using the Luxilon Big Banger ALU Power Rough 16L String and everything is exception except for the fact that it feels a bit stiff.

I've only used the alu power rough and would suggest stringing the tension lower if you find it stiff - I like 52lbs.

Have to admit I'm guided by the pros on strings more than racquets - I playtest nearly every racquet before buying but when stringing I look at the pro's who string in my tension range and try those first and if I like them I stick with them.

I'm happy with the spin from my alu rough and love it when the ball rolls up the back fence :).

I've used the regular ALU Power 16, and the ALU Power Rough 16L, and I liked the rough version better. Though it it is a thinner gauge, the durability is close. The added spin is nice too. I have yet to try the new ALU Power "Spin" string.

But you can't go wrong with the ALU Power Rough. Just don't string it too low, it doesn't hold tension well.

I've tried the ALU power spin 16 (it's a pentagon sshaped string) hybrided w/ K-Gut. This string feels like it gives off massive amounts of spin (i actually got a cut on my finger and stringing this stuff), but yea it was really stiff. After it breaks in, to me it felt amazing. Not sure how it compares to rough or regular, since this was my 1st lux string.

I use the Luxilon Power Rough 16 on my cross strung at 57. I feel just a little racquet change in direction induces good spin.

Thanks for the reply guys. I've only been using the ALU Power Rough 16 so I guess I will have to try the other ones and post back about them. It'll probably be about 2 months until I try all of them since 2 weeks is usually how long it takes for me to break strings.
