LWOT ('Last Word on Tennis') website demonstrating strong bias towards Federer

Semi-Pro

I woke up this morning to see yet another pro Fed article on the LWOT website which publishes news and analysis/predictions of both ATP & WTA matches. This has come a couple days after they published an article presenting an argument of why Roger Federer is the true GOAT. Although i agreed with some of the arguments in that article, it just seems a bit over the top to be continually praising Roger. I feel like they should at least try and remain somewhat impartial as a news & media organisation, or publish two more articles with arguments for why Djokovic & Nadal could be considered GOAT's. I understand they are allowed to express their views, as they have through predictions and articles discussing the future of next gen players, lost gen etc, but something as touchy as who is the greatest tennis player of all time, should be treated objectively or not discussed AT ALL.

Btw I'm not just saying this cos im a Djokovic fan (as many of you may suggest in the comments) in merely interested in being able to engage with a media sources, which is not biased.

You just say this cause your a Djoker fan...

Jk.

You can still have non bias opinions even if it favors your guy, regardless of what people may say here. Then again, with so many bias opinions it is hard to regulate who is being bias and who is not at times.

The fact of the matter is Fed is older than the other two and, at the moment, has certain significant records over them. Novak looks poised to overtake Fed’s weeks at #1 and Nadal is knocking on the door of the slam record, so in two or three years coverage of the so-called GOAT could look very different. That said, I don’t see why, now, a publication should produce articles proclaiming three different players the GOAT in order to be unbiased. Fed is older and has won more. One or both of Novak and Rafa look poised to overtake several important records from Fed, but until they do, he has a certain claim over them.

I don’t think he’s the greatest of all time, but I do think, at this exact moment in history, he’s achieved more than Djokovic or Nadal. That could change shortly.

It’s the truth. Deal with it!

You can have the non bias opinions, but I've seen a trend toward the subjective opinions lately.

Remember the good old days when all you'd hear is 17>14?

Now they're really emphasising the pretty shots a lot more.

The whole world aside from a few malcontents love Federer and are pro-Roger. It's also shockingly naive to expect the media (or this irrelevant Blog) to be unbiased. Never mind that the website you link to is read by probably 12 people world-wide.

The media is supposed to be unbiased, so it's not naive to expect it to do its job.
