Nole is playing pretty well, I would love to see Murray - Nole final, to see who is the better player. Murray has a easy road to the final now, I dont see del Potro or Federer having anything in their game to trouble Murray.

If Murray defends the Madrid title, that will be a great achievement, how many believe he can defend it?

Nole takes the first after breaking seppi again, interesting set, wonder if the second will be a bit more comfortable

Which Murray are you talking here? The one that had a hard time beating that Italian guy yesterday? He'll be a toss againt Fed in the semis(if he makes that far).

He won't.Clay is his worst surface. He has yet to win a title on this surface.

Murray has never failed to defend a title. I think this is a little unfair on that record, though. He's basically defending a different tournament.

Nadal is lucky not to play him? what? He would have beaten him 2 and 2 or something like that.

Every match these guys play there is a risk of injury or defeat, however small, accidents happen. Now he gets to rest. This is being lucky on his part, you really think he prefferd to play rather than rest and practice on his own time? This called lucky.

Fed was lucky he had to play Blake. Murray doesn't have any problem beating fed and will school him as usual in the semi final. I don't think fed has any chance against Murray. We'll see.

And if he can reach the final, he has some chance to defend his title. Thats why I asked that.

I wouldn't write off DelPo tomorrow, I think he's got every chance of beating Andy if he's playing well

Come on, be serious. del Potro has no chance against Murray. He is a hard and flat hitter, Murray will frustrate him by getting all the balls back in play and then play some magical tennis.

Federer is light years better on clay than Murray.

Well, Nadal gets even more balls back and he was defeated by Delpo only few weeks back. I didnt see any magical tennis in his game today.

Look i'm not a Fed fan but i'm just being realistic.Has Fed and Murray ever met on clay? No.Fed has a strong resumé on clay whereas Murray hasn't.Has he ever win anything on clay? No.

Of course he has a chance to win this tourney as any other player but whether he 'll win it is another matter.I'll dig this thread up on sunday night.

What titles has he defended? Titles like Doha that don't mean anything.

He hasn't had a chance to defend his Master's titles yet.

And of course they mean something. They aren't easy to win. How many has Federer won recently? Djokovic has never defended one of those titles either. Djokovic hasn't defended any titles.
