Ok so i bought a babolat pure drive a while ago.

    Thought it was great.
then decided to buy (without trying) a Head Ig extreme pro 2.0. Just was itchy to buy something else.

Took a little while to get used to it..........but now cant get away from the head. What an awesome racquet. Feels similar to pure drive (actually feels like it swings lighter despite a heavier weight), but just a little stiffer, which i like and find better against opponents with bigger swings. And my backhand is much much better with the head.

The pure drive i felt at times great, but it would shudder every now again if ball hit wrong or against a stronger opponent.

im of two minds - either sell pure drive and get another extreme pro (which ill get another for sure in future) , or try and make pure drive feel similar to extreme pro.

Does anyone know how i would go about this? would i add a bit of lead on the handle of the pure drive ? (tape around the handle??)

If anyone has suggestions that would be great. otherwise there will be a pure drive for sale on the market!.

I wouldn't be able to tell you how to change the feel of the frame, but in the end, it would be a lot easier to just try and sell the PD and buy an Extreme.

probably need to add at least a 1/2 ounce of lead weight to the racquet and more so in the handle than the other end to make it a little more head light

Yes. You can weigh each tip of each racket, resting the other tip on a couple of fingers. And then apply lead tape til you get similar results. They will probably feel different anyway though. And whether you should add weight in the middle of the racket, or in the ends, will probably include some guesswork...
If one has leather grip, and the other synthetic, that could also be a place to start.

Sell the PD and get another Extreme Pro! I've heard for tweener frames, the Extreme Pro is the ballz!
