Marc Andrea Husler becomes just the 4th swiss player this century

To win an ATP event after Federer,Wawrinka and Rosset
And just the second player to win title after Federer reached his first ATP Final-Marseille February 2000/ironically beaten by Rosset for his final title/-the other player is of course Wawrinka

@Spencer Gore

Time to re-order the list of Swiss players again

Jacob Hlasek was 80-90s but deserves a shout out making 14 singles finals, winning 5 including Rotterdam, Wembley and Basel.

I do hope Swiss tennis continues past the one handed lions. Not necessarily Slam success but Top 20.

Rosset beats Fed in February 2000 in Marseille in his last final and Fed s first.After this match only Fed and Wawrinka have won titles for Switzerland and the list is too big to include it here.Yesterday after his titles in Sofia Huesler joined the list

How does a small country like Switzerland keep turning them out? I might have guessed it's the Fed Effect but Hingis was already on the scene long before him!

I actually just watched that Rosset/Federer final in 2000 recently. Good match. Rosset could certainly bring the heat on the serve and throughly deserved that title.
