Mardy Fish

Wow, always enjoyed watching Fish. One of my favourites in the early 2000's. Should be interesting to see how well he does, bearing in mind his last match was in mid 2013.

Interesting article on Mardy Fish who is scheduled to play IW and Miami and then possibly more.

He had a serious heart condition which was treated with a procedure. He then developed panic disorder following this. He is a great player to watch when he is on his game. Also a nice person. I wish him the best in his comeback.

While he may be a nice person, he was a bit of an a-hole too often as a player He had some well know episodes that caused him to lose a lot of fans.

While I don't enjoy him, I would love to see him overcome his problems and make a comeback.

He had a entertaining and controversial match with Ebden at Indian Wells a few years ago. He just looked like he would rather be anywhere but on court, at the tail end of the final set.

Not to mention his match against Murray at QC, as he persuaded the umpire to resume play the next day, while Murray was on the comeback. Fish went on to win the next day!

I remember Mardy Fish and Andy Murray having some "heat" between them whenever they played in 2010-2011.

I remember Murray shouting "come on" when Mardy missed a forehand at Queen's aeons ago, the look on Mardy's face lol...Mardy wasn't going to let Murray win even if it meant he'd have to play the next day.

It'll be interesting to see how he fares in his upcoming tournaments and I do hope he may have a good comeback. I remember various excellent matches from him in a couple MS 1000's tournaments; some of those matches he took on Djokovic in tight sets.
