I'm all for another shocker, although this one wouldn't be as deep as the Nadal or Ivanovic one, that's for sure since Maria has been absent for so long and Li Na really can play with great concentration and determination.
 
sharapova has some freckling or acne scars on her face that never seem to be on it when she's in her magazine pics.

(i try not to be rude about players, for her i will make an exception. reports suggest she's arrogant, rude and selfish)
 
If Sharapova loss this 4th round, its totally a frustration day for tennis whereby a numbers of seeded players were dumped out on d same day itself. First Ivanovic, secondly Nadal then followed by Verdasco. Hopefully not for the beauty russian.
 
Magazine pics of persons are almost always corrected for any such flaws or scars. What magazine cover would want the centre of attention to be shown with such flaws? That's just standard procedure.

haha. she sure is arrogant: she never answered the question i posted on her website. i wanted to know if she could beat her coach michael joyce :)

i know, it was meant entirely maliciously. although correcting photos is a terrible thing too.

I greatly agree. I don't like the shrieking and some small habits, but I wholeheartedly believe that a Maria in good health and shape could really come back to dominate the women's tour, or at least be right up there with the best. Whatever anyone else can say about her, she has a strong will and fight instinct in tennis, her competitive win mindset and general mental strength is what a lot of players (no matter their talent level) seem to lack these days.

Li has to be one of the dumbest players out there. Sharapova can't move well on clay even when healthy, yet Li feels content to play mindless ball-bash with her... Masha up 5-4.
