With DelPotro out for injury and Nadal probably out too (I don't see him taking risks for 2 tournaments he never won and he isn't likely to win), this is probably gonna be the 8 players of the Masters this year.

I still have my fingers-crossed that Rafa can make it back before then. The problem with Isner is his game is 90% serve. He doesn't move well and it can get so tedious, so fast.

The lineup could be worse. I still can't wrap my brain around Zverev possibly being 3rd.

It's not news, per say, but there are rumors he has started practicing. He's been seen coming and going from practice centers carrying rackets and that's all I think any of us have heard.

Well then he's playing. Don't see how he could restrain himself from getting into the melee especially with the fight for year end number one etc. with Djoko.

Ouch Delpo broken patella and is out so the game is afoot for 9 at the very least.

With Isner's record in Paris one might almost favor him to pass Nishikori. It would take some real heroics for Tsitsipas, Coric, or Fognini to even make it to 10th in the rankings.
